Plat Du Jour Bistro's cuisine is French influenced Mediterranean cuisine inspired by Chef Patrick Lord's Coastal New England roots. Wine and cocktails are a tremendous part of every meal, and we offer a variety of such in a range of prices. Our elegant dining room and lounge is a lovely part of the Wenham Tea House. In the spring and summer our outdoor patio space provides some of the most relaxing al fresco dining in the area.

Plat Du Jour Afternoon Tea is a full service tearoom located in the historic Wenham Tea House, which is the oldest operating tea house in America. The experience includes a pot of tea and a curated selection of finger foods. The food is a set menu which changes seasonally consisting of a variety of finger sandwiches, savory canapes, cakes, scones, macarons, and other pastries with lemon curd, jam and clotted cream. Finally made it here! Chef Patrick Lord has an amazing mouthwatering menu and incredible team of hospitality professionals. We had the octopus app, coq au vin and the beef Wellington which is only served on Saturdays. Don't pass it up! And finished with the most decadent chocolate mousse. Our server Laurel is fantastic and we had a wonderful time! Thank you chef and we'll be back!

Everything about the tea was perfect, service was excellent food was good and loved the chocolate strawberry martini! Ambiance was exceptional. I plan on going again. Perfect place for a tea party!

A real pleasure to dine out in a lovely setting with white table cloths, flowers and garden views. The menu features delicious, classic, fare that was both elevated and straightforward. The Wenham Tea House/Plat du Jour is a very welcome alternative to run of the mill pub style restaurants and menus.

It was a perfect lunch celebrating one of my friends’ birthday. The weather was great and we sat outside. The food was delicious and our waitress, Laurel, was amazing. She was so friendly and really took good care of us. We will definitely return and request Laurel, although I’m sure the other servers are fabulous, too.

My second time here - mid week for a quiet belated Mother's Day lunch. The floral decorations were still beautiful. Our meal of a charcuterie board, tuna tartare, French grilled cheese and a beautiful salad were all perfectly prepared, as were the cocktails and coffee. Our server a delight. My only regret - you can't try the entire menu at one sitting!

We went for Mother’s Day Brunch. Nowhere on their website or social media pages did it say there was a set menu. We were anticipating ordering off the regular menu, which is very reasonably priced. Upon arrival we were presented with a buffet menu that was preset. It was $85 a person. If it was upscale, I wouldn’t be so upset, but the food was so basic. Basic charcuterie, dry mac & cheese, and an overcooked spiral ham already cut into pieces. There was a nice assortment of pastries, but not $85 worth. We had a reservation for 3 and the total bill including 2 cocktails and tip ended up being $350. I wish I just sent my mom to the spa instead. Also very that sad they redid the inside and took away the cottage charm. I use to love the quaint Tea House of yesteryears… so sad to see it change in this way. Our server was super sweet and pleasant, but other than that, I don’t see a reason to go back.

My husband and I enjoyed our meals! The menu is great! Very ambitious! It is a nice pleasant atmosphere and very friendly! We will be back soon!
