All of our food (appetizers and main courses) were brought out at the same time, therefore, they were all cold by the time we ate it. The steak was rare instead of medium. We sent it back and it turned out medium rare. It did not taste right. Other items were ok only. No wonder the restaurant was empty. It’s mistake to go there, not worth the price I paid.

Quality of meat was great, one steak at the table was way undercooked order medium(expecting a baby) and never really got it up to temperature after asking to cook it up. Sides were not good, order another steak for a side. Service started out great at first for drinks/ordering food, then disappeared after food was delivered. Had to wave someone down to get our check to be able to leave

Solid place in north loop for a meal. Server very friendly, staff attentive. Ordered the lobster roll -- that was tasty. The accompanying fries were not particularly hot which was a disappointment, but not a deal breaker.

Waitstaff was not friendly. The food was average, at best. I didn’t realize until I walked in that I had been before and I had not liked it then either. Waitstaff is unpleasant.

Food was delicious, and reasonably priced for the area. Drinks were inventive and well executed. Service was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. I would definitely return.

Always a great place for good food and service. Sad to see this place will close in two weeks (today is 7/30/23) we were told by our server. The hotel and restaurant are getting sold to a Korean corporation and the restaurant will be turned into a Korean BBQ place. Last chance for some great mussels! Sad to see another great restaurant close.

Went to dinner here by chance after walking by. The best meal we had on our trip. The oysters were great and the lobster roll was fantastic!!

Food was delicious. Service was laughable and underwhelming. Felt like the host and server didn’t care about us, especially when I put a note about it being my anniversary and there was no acknowledgement or celebration for it. The busser poured water on the table and didn’t say anything. We ordered the ceviche, Belgian mussels and frites, and chicken beet salad. We thought the appetizer would come first but everything came all at once, so we were hungry and felt like stalling. Server also couldn’t take one second to observe that we needed a to-go box and bag. This time I felt like I had to trouble him to do the bare minimum of what was expected from a restaurant that claims to be “lively and inviting.”

Next time I’ll order the salmon medium rare as it was a bit dried out when I ordered it medium. Otherwise everything was fine. Thank you.

Really wanted to like Fisk. Menu read well, but overpriced and underwhelming. Mussels in coconut curry were fantastic, everything else was pretty basic. Service was rushed and inattentive. We were told by our server kitchen was severely understaffed and kitchen closed in 1/2 hour despite our reservation. Didn’t set a great tone. Server was preoccupied with too many things. I understand being understaffed, but there is a way to manage it well, which sadly he did not. For the menu prices, service should have been top notch- which doesn’t mean formal, but better execution. I hate writing bad reviews, but were were in Chicago one night and had hoped for a great experience.

Delicious mussels, I had the coconut curry. House salad okay. Husband loved the ceviche and oysters and frites. Very good service.

Waiters were amazing. Very on top of things and knowledgeable of the food and drinks. We ate outside and they have huge umbrellas so you aren’t sitting under the sun. The salmon was probably the best I’ve ever had. The gnocchi was also amazing. The prices are also very good for the location.

We ordered the Shrimp and Mahi Mahi Ceviche as an appetizer. This dish was amazing and made even better when the Executive Chef, Luis stopped by our table and brought out the house hot sauce. We followed it up by ordering the Classic Mussels and the Belgian Mussels with the Malt Vinegar and Truffle Fries. Everything was delicious. The wait staff was extremely attentive. My husband and I even noted a family sitting near us with a young child who wasn’t feeling well. The wait staff was very accommodating, bringing the child a banana and as the family was leaving, the Executive Chef brought out a container of each blueberries and raspberries for the child and told the child he hoped they felt better. We were so impressed with Fisk & Co. we returned for breakfast the next morning. Luis remembered us and brought us a sampling of a dish he had made for his wait staff. This place is five star!

This is one of my favorite places to go to. I've had more than one birthday celebration at this location (mine or friends) and just for good seafood on a normal day. The food is always amazing from the oysters on happy hour to the muscles. Over the years of coming here, things have changed and like most changes, it's never good for the customer due to cutbacks (not good) and prices going up. I understand prices need to go up a bit year to year but stop cutting things back as well if prices are going up! but for now, I still come here even though I did not get my free birthday desert-like I usually do this time around (another cutback?)

Dinner was just not good. The Amish chicken was served cold, as were the potatoes and the corn was old and hard. We asked them to replace with the steak frites instead, which seemed like a safe bet but it was tough and hard to chew even at medium. Flank steak is not a good cut for steak. The lobster roll was awful. The lobster was very tough and chewy, and didn’t even taste like lobster. The lobster was very old and fishy. We went here because it had such great reviews but after tasting three subpar dishes we can’t recommend it at all.

Hands down one of the worst dine-in meals I have ever had in my 12 years in Chicago. Ordered ceviche as an starter and split mussels / malt-vinegar fries. Ceviche was bland and the accompanying tortilla chips were stale. Mussels / broth were way overcooked and blown out. Had a fishy / sandy taste and texture as if they were old and not properly cleaned. A good portion of the mussels did not open properly. Cream in broth was cooked too hot and wound up splitting, which should not happen if cooked appropriately. Waitress was rather unhelpful. Did not have knowledge of beer available so had to go get a menu, which I would think should have been given to us along with the food menus? When we asked which mussel broth type she preferred of the 4 selections, we got a shrug and told she didn't eat mussels, which is fine, but could have countered with the selection(s) that she sees most other customers order. For a $100+ meal, I would not come back and would not ever recommend.

The classic mussels were great! My husband enjoyed the fresh oysters and clam chowder. My frites could have been better, not hot enough or crispy.

For a quick comfort food meal of mussels and frites, search no further. Cozy up with a glass of cote du Rhone and enjoy the clamp chowder! Service is quickly attentive and effectively delivered. Have a great time.

Very nice seafood selection, novel drink selection and nice apps. We enjoyed the burrata and oysters which was delish. Menu was well rounded for a limited offering. Ambience was enjoyable and conversational but lively. Service was excellent. Fisk is in the Monoco Hotel that offers convenient parking right next door if needed. Cute bar area as well. Prices are a bit high for the portions but it's what you'll find in the city.

Straight to the point- our service experience was beneath my standards as our waiter was basically rushing us at every point within the dining process- What was the hurry?we found this person very intrusive to our dining experience There was no reason since there wasen't a line outside of the door. Would I come back? sure if i'm in a hurry I guess your model works perfectly then.
