   We visited Santa Maria for the first time this past weekend. Our server suggested an appetizer so we ordered the oysters.. The oysters were a great disappointment. They were the size of fingernails! We will take some of the blame because May does not contain an R yet for $24.00 it was a giant disappointment. The cocktails were very good. My husband thought his Seabass was excellent. I ordered the Mexican sampler which was very generous with the proteins. We skipped dessert. I don't know if we will try again. The oysters will be omitted no matter the month. Maybe this restaurant is better with friends. We came by ourselves and it felt a little was lacking but I can't put my finger on it.

   Service and food was great. Background music was too loud making it difficult to hear and understand wait staff.

   Outstanding food and drinks!! We will be back for sure. Our server provided outstanding customer service … she went above and beyond to make our brunch something we’d remember. Thank you for that. This was our first time at Santa Maria. We would suggest moderating the music. Loved the music but it was a bit too loud making it difficult to hear each other talk.

   This is the second time that we’ve eaten at this restaurant. Both times we were pleasantly surprised. The food is amazing. We’ve always had very friendly and efficient waiters and waitresses. It does get a little bit noisy with the entertainment, but other than that, the restaurant itself is extremely cool.

   The Parmesan oysters and pork belly were delicious!!! Wine and margaritas perfect. The seafood paella was incredible as was the enchiladas with mole sauce. Our server Alexandra was amazing. So pleasant , attentive. Knew the menu very well and what to eat!!!! First time eating here but will definitely be back!!

   Celebration 5th anniversary of our daughter and son-in-law with first visit to Santa Maria. It was easy to make a reservation online and when we arrived our table was ready, seated outside in the lovely evening weather (and pollen 😷) Food was excellent and well prepared. Apps arrived fairly quickly. Everyone complimented how good the food tasted. I had a cocktail which was very well crafted. Server was friendly and checked in regularly although we experienced gaps waiting to order entrees and again to order dessert and check out. It was a Saturday evening and busy, that may be the reason. Overall a very good dinner and celebration. We will be back!
