Since 2003, Little Ruby’s Cafe has brought Australian cafe culture to New York City, offering approachable all-day fare, specialty drinks, and a full coffee program. Open for brekkie, lunch and dinner 7 days a week, Little Ruby’s beloved menu features the signature burgers, pastas, salads and brunch classics, all served in thoughtfully designed spaces.

The new location offers Little Ruby’s popular breakfast and all-day menus, from bowls and salads to freshly homemade pastas and burgers alongside a cocktail menu from our full bar available only at Williamsburg and West Village locations.

Opening February 2025. Little Ruby’s Williamsburg will be open 7 days a week for brekkie, lunch and dinner.

I’m not sure if I caught them on a bad night, but I had a really disappointing dining experience. I brought 2 of my friends who were celebrating birthdays and I was excited to have found a place that had gluten free/ vegan options. The service was not up to par, we sat there for 20 minutes before someone took our order, and the server barely checked in on us. It felt like I was chasing people down to take our order, have more napkins, bring the check, order another drink, etc. My friend ordered a medium-rare burger and there wasn’t even a hint of pink on the burger, it was so overcooked. What was most upsetting was the failed birthday surprise that made me feel incredibly embarrassed. I called 4 hours before the dinner to request a simple birthday surprise: bring out 2 desserts and sing happy birthday. The girl on the phone said it would be no problem and they could totally accommodate us. When I got to the restaurant I also kindly reminded the host of the birthday surprise and he said he would remind the server. Shocker: they forgot to bring out the desserts. I made a small gesture to the host to remind him and one of the servers brought out one cake with unlit candles and no one was singing happy birthday. The host then grabbed her and brought her back so they could do the surprise the right way, but it had already been ruined for my friends. They only brought out one cake and sang to one of my friends when there were two birthdays. We were there for over 2 hours, by the end of the dinner we were all cranky and impatient, and really just wanted to get out of there but we had to constantly ask for the check. I spent days finding a restaurant that they would enjoy and I really wanted to do something special for them, and I hate how the staff here were not thoughtful or accommodating. I’d only eat here again if I had no other choice and definitely wouldn’t bring loved ones here for a special event.

The food and vibes are great, and the staff are typically very helpful. However, on our last visit it took 20 minutes for our server to even come to the table after we'd tried to flag people down. Then our drinks didn't come for another 30 minutes after asking her twice, and she never came back to check on us. We had 3 babies and sat there trying to get anyone to bring us the check for another 20 minutes after finishing our meal. It was a very poor experience and added a lot of stress to the meal.

Overall it was good. The burger was really good but the fried chicken sandwich was lacking in flavor. The service was good, however we were not offered the option to order dessert. The waitress just brought the bill. My partner wanted to get an espresso but we just paid and went somewhere else.

Delicious Williamsburg Brunch. I had the green breakfast bowl and a golden turmeric latte. My partner had the Big Breakfast with fresh OJ and coffee. Fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked eggs, crispy and soft sourdough, friendly servers and quick service. Can’t wait to return to try more items on the lunch and brunch menus.

Great food, great service, terrific ambience. Super place for a Saturday breakfast/brunch. As good or better than any other similar restaurant in Brooklyn, or all of NYC really.

A super cute place, love the fresh design. The food and drinks were great. My only complaints are that the service was very slow (though cheery and lovely, just slow), and we were seated in the corner near very loud speakers. Otherwise it was a pleasant evening and we will definitely be back.
