Everyone admits that this is the most expensive restaurant in town, but it’s worth it. I recommend for the special occasions. It’s my birthday dinner and I had a great time. We’ll come back for the next special day.

Delicious food! Great presentation. Loved all the different textures with each dish. The view from the mezzanine level is beautiful.

We had a fabulous dining experience at Wye Oak Tavern (our second visit). The service was exemplary. Ally, our server was just spot on. She was professional, friendly and welcoming. One in our party has multiple food allergies and she consulted with the chef & let him know which dishes not to order which was very reassuring. The fish dishes were excellent. Coddies yummy. Overall, perfection at Wye Oak again! Thank you

During this visit, I was genuinely disappointed by how overwhelmingly salty all three dishes were—ravioli, chicken, and broccoli. It was to the point where I would believe it if I was told that they had been soaked in salt water. Broccoli was unevenly seasoned where a few were super salty and the others were very bland. We didn’t mention it to the server, because it clearly wasn’t her fault, but despite being extremely hungry, we had a hard time finishing the meal. I’m leaving this review so that something like this doesn’t become a regular happening. I’ve visited Wye Oak Tavern multiple times with family and friends since it opened, including for Easter and Mother’s Day brunch. Overall, each experience has been positive, with carefully curated food and attentive service. I hope this issue is quickly resolved so that I can return for another positive experience in the future.

Had to strongly request a nice table downstairs. Very slow service. Too noisy. They did take back a salad we didn’t like. It seemed like it was taken out of the freezer!! The best thing was the beet pastrami. The steak was really good. Didn’t like the pasta bolognese.

Excellent cocktails. We had the ham with pimento cheese and tavern rolls. Good but the cheese could use some more seasoning. The appetizer and entrees all came out at the same time so we had to send back the entrees. There would have barely been any room for all of it on the table. The were served later. I had the pot roast which I liked a lot. My spouse had the pork chop with grits and both were excellent. Desserts were the deconstructed lemon marangue pie and the Slice of Wye Oak: chocolate rolled up and hazelnut ice cream . Again both were very good. We plan to go again. They also allow corkage for $25 a bottle.

Wow. Just wow. So many fascinatingly delicious dishes you'll never find anywhere else. The savory Parmesan cheesecake!!! The four-day-smoked beets with gruyere funnel cake ... !!!!?!!!! And the lightest, fluffiest mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese we've ever had in our entire lives! (I know even the POTATOES were memorable!!!!) The atmosphere was incredible, the staff was SUPER helpful in their recommendations of food and wine... All in all, a fantastically fabulous evening!!! Loved it.

Everything was great, except the noise level. We had a hard time hearing the opposite side of the table even though we were in a corner booth with only 5 people.
