    Food and service was very good. The noise level made conversation difficult at times- they had a party going on the main dining area which was only separated from the regular diners by a screen divider. When the weather becomes more optimal for outdoor seating that will eliminate the noise issues. We love the food, vibe and servers~ just wish the room design absorbed the sound better.

    Service outside was not good. 15-20 min at table and no one came to take drink orders, provide menus or flatware. We had a 7 pm in the dining room but it was delayed because of a party. We were open to sitting outside and the hostess said they're setting it up but never came back to get us. Finally sat at 7:30, ordered drinks 20 min later and didn't get dinner until 8:30.

    Even though we had a reservation, we still waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Then we waited for the server to come take drink orders for about another 15 minutes. The food was pretty good, though the orders were messed up a little bit (wrong sides and sauces.) 2 out of the 3 steaks we had at the table were overcooked. For the price, everything should’ve been better, especially the service. Not sure if we’ll go back.

    Enjoyed the restaurant, we had a blast. The staff is lovely, they took good care of us and the food was delicious.

    Took my friend there because she did a Hugh favor for me and was so very happy with everything from the table we chose and the service was spot on and the food was delicious. It’s one of my favorite restaurants in Long Island.

    Late lunch/early dinner on terrace. Quiet outside. Party inside. Service slow at first but attentive when they discovered us . Finding food consistently good!

    First time at The Marker and we loved it. We sat outdoors in a lovely setting overlooking the water. The staff was more than friendly and accommodating. Service was excellent. Great menu with lots of choices. Food was yummy. We dine frequently at Heirloom Tavern, Wild Goose and occasionally The Brass Rail, the three other restaurants by the same owner. We are happy to add The Marker to our list of faves and can’t wait to go back.
