Server was extremely rude. After patiently waiting 10+ minutes for our check (after asking her for it), she yelled at us for putting our card on the table so she could see as she was walking by.

The best of last nights meal is the sour cabbage fish hotpot but can be slightly more sour to my taste. If they have a small portion just for 2 would be perfect so I can go there again with my hubby. This time we were 5 of us and we could only barely finished half. Geoduck clam fried is ok with a lot of bean sprouts but not enough spring onion; the second best of last nights dinner is the steamed lobster on a bed of sticker rice and lotus leaf.

Steamed fresh catch fish, geoduck, oyster dishes were very delicious. Prior visit I also had an excellent steamed fresh catch fish recommended by captain / owner (?). Consistent execution throughout the years. Great restaurant.

I’m not sure what the hype is with this place. It was a very disappointing experience for my mom’s birthday. If you strip away the decor, it’s a very average restaurant with questionable cleanliness. We were even served a skewer with just chicken wing tips!

We came back for a second visit after loving it the first time - the Hong Kong-style crab and seafood rice were amazing, and the service was warm and attentive. This time was my boyfriend’s birthday, and we wanted to relive the experience. Once again, the food was fresh, flavorful, and fantastic. What really surprised us was the unexpected birthday gesture from the restaurant. It wasn’t even like the complimentary dessert some places offer (which is already a lovely touch) - this was something much more thoughtful and meaningful. I won’t spoil it, but we were genuinely touched. It was explained to us as a cultural tradition, which made it feel even more special. So happy we chose to celebrate here. We’ll definitely be back!
