Make it a day to remember. From birthdays and anniversaries to professional milestones, we aim to make every gathering special at The Capital Grille. Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     Terrific service and all steaks and sides were delicious and the best fluffy crème brûléed cheesecake to top it off!!

    My wife and I had an awesome dinner, made better by our server Kyle. We have been to numerous Capital Grille across the country. But this was the best experience .

    Ordered the special Porterhouse they were offering. Horrible quality for a $100 steak. The service is good. Food wasn’t worth the price.

    As great as Capital Grille is, they were definitely off their game this visit and totally missed the mark. Ordered a bone in filet “medium” and pretty much came out still breathing. They did offer to take it back, but who wants to wait again. I mean, they are a steak restaurant. Get it right the first time. Also, the two martini’s one for $18.00 and one $19.50 were each short. All that being said, the manager did make things right.

    We ventured to the Capital Grille Newtown for the first time last week for my wifes birthday. I usually go to a premium steakhouse 1-2x a month for work purposes and Capital Grille is usually a favorite. I will say this location fell short. Our Server Daulton was an ace, however the food missed the normal expectations when I/we visit. I usually savor every bite. The steak was a tad undercooked, not a huge deal in my book, but the $81 porcini rubbed ribeye missed the flavor it always has I think that is the best steak on the menu. It was not seaonsed properly, I actually had to ask for the course salt to season. I should never have to do that at any premium steakhouse. The brussel sprouts were a tad undercooked and "saucy". Hate to say this, but this was the worst steak I have had in my 15 plus years of going to this chain.

    "Exceptional Experience at The Capital Grille – Thanks to Manager Ken Lawlor and an Amazing Team!" "Top-notch experience at The Capital Grille!" Manager Ken Lawlor and his team were outstanding—professional, welcoming, and attentive. The food was exceptional from start to finish. Great atmosphere, amazing service. It's our go to on a Friday night.
