I was hoping for a special anniversary dinner, but Woven kind of fell flat. Let me start with some praise- the staff was terrific, everyone is attentive and kind! Decor is lovely and the view can't be beat, especially on a sunny summer evening. Parking was easy, too. Now for the not so great. I'd made reservations a couple of weeks ago and noted the special occasion, but we were led to the first tiny booth right between the grill station and the main kitchen- it was incredibly noisy with all the clatter, ventilation fan noise, and the shouted commands in the kitchen (this just feels silly, btw). We asked to be moved to a more quiet table and were shown to another tiny table when there were several open 4-tops next to the windows. Those table remained empty until another couple was seated just as we were waiting for our tab. Our food was up and down and the menu... I think we were hoping for more of a focus on NW specialties, but it felt generic. Raw oysters were the high point and were excellent. We got 3 different sushi rolls- the surprise was the yummy maple ponzu salmon, but the fried crab was way overdone and dry; spicy tuna also very dry-almost inedible unless drenched in soy sauce. Paella was good- heavy on the tomato and cotija, shrimp was overcooked. We didn't order dessert as we weren't enticed by any of the selections. Despite what were described as seasonal offerings, no NW strawberries in peak season??

Birthday dinner was fabulous. Requested water view when I made the reservation and our table had a beautiful view of the water. Our party was well taken care of by the wait staff. Our waiter was knowledgeable and friendly, just the right amount of times asking if we needed anything without being annoying. The food was excellent. Especially loved the pork collar and oysters. Would go back again for special occasion.

Yes for dinner! (Previous review title was “maybe not for brunch”). We arrived, waited maybe 10 minutes past our reservation to be sat. Again, they had a delightful server assistant. Our server Zach was equally or more so delightful. Very knowledgeable and knew Hawaii. They knew we were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and acknowledged it by offering a complimentary pour of bubbles. The beef teriyaki skewers and seafood pillow appetizers were perfection. My husband’s Miso Cod had the perfect flavor. The market catch was halibut. Tasty & simply pan seared with salt & pepper. I loved it but did lament not ordering a more Hawaiian inspired fish. I can assure you if they had Monchong or Opah on the menu, that would have been my order. They did not have the bottle of wine I selected (special skill, if anything at all at a restaurant is 86ed, it will most certainly be the item that attracts my attention) but brought 3 reasonably similar alternatives and we enjoyed the we selected very much. Dinner was completed by a perfect light strawberry lime parfait. We are very excited to return in the future.

We went here for a birthday dinner. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. The staff was very attentive and consistent. Food arrived quickly and was delicious. Try the miso glazed cod, it was the best. We didn't get to try any desserts but the variety looked good.

We went here for my birthday lunch. It was our first visit and won’t be our last! The food was delicious! We enjoyed the seafood pillows as an appetizer. I had the miso cod and my husband had the pho inspired pork ribs. Yummy! Not sure if a free dessert is usually given for birthday occasions. But not in our case … we paid for the Panna cotta which was delicious! Also to note, the wait staff was very attentive.

Gorgeous setting, lovely decor and nice ambience with music not too loud for conversation. Service was prompt but pushing alcohol at Sunday brunch is never my favorite look. I hope they will add some NA drinks and mocktails to the menu. Food was a mixed bag, we had delicious grilled asparagus and brussel sprouts, but some entrees were really too salty. That said I would try Woven again and order some different things! Maybe second time is the charm!!

Everything was delicious and the wait staff couldn't have been more attentive! The only notes I'd give is they needed a bit of a char on the shrimp with risotto and if you're going to bring a birthday dessert, make it a regular size and not a 2-tablespoon taste
