Food was excellent! However for the amount of money you spend, the front of house service could improve. There seems to be no front of house manager. No one picked up dirty dishes, had to get our own utensils and appetizer plates. We will come back and continue to support- but hoping it was just an unexpected busy night.

My husband and I visited for Father’s day . The food was great , serving portion plentiful and delicious . The hospitality was refreshing and the soulful atmosphere was greatly appreciated.

We had a wonderful Father’s Day experience. The food, service ambiance was great. Appetizers came out in 2 seconds lol & the food only took about 5 minutes. Drinks were nice & strong. We’ll definitely be back

What a wonderful way to spend our time celebrating their dad/my partner in life on Father’s Day! The service was friendly and helpful! The ambiance was wonderful. And the food was the star of the show! We will definitely be back!

The ambience was flawless—elegant yet comfortable, with music that set the perfect tone for celebration and connection. The food? Simply divine. Every bite was seasoned with love, soul, and culinary mastery. From the appetizers to the main course to the desserts—we were impressed and full of gratitude. You could taste the intention and tradition in every dish. What truly elevated the night, though, was the exceptional service. The staff was professional, kind, and attentive without being overbearing. They made us feel not just welcomed, but cherished. It was more than just dinner—it was an experience. This was my first time & definitely won’t be my last. From start to finish we were impressed! The experience specialist that served us was great. The bartender and drinks were amazing. The live saxophonist was a treat. The short ribs and soul rolls were to die for. Thank you for showing us an amazing time.

Great food, great price! Macaroni was a little bit peppery, but overall the food was great! My server was great. My date and I tried a few of the dishes. I had the oxtail plate over rice, big healthy portion - with the yams (fire) and the red beans and rice, a bit salty but still good. I also had the sweet potato cornbread, tastes like cake! Good and sweet. She had the short ribs, another really healthy portion. She had the greens and mac for her sides with the regular cornbread. Greens were great, a bit peppery as well with a tad bit of spice. The regular cornbread has a syrup sauce at the bottom that makes it sweet and tasty. Drinks were really good as well. Definitely enough to take to-go’s and we’ll definitely be back. 9.5/10 Will definitely be back. And is now definitely one of my frequent go-to’s.

The atmosphere was on point. The Dj was good , playing the right music for the vibe. Our server Shawn was really great, he gave us recommendations, and great service. The food was delicious. My party had lamb chops, they were a little salty, but had great flavor. I had oxtails they were great. We also had soul rolls. I highly recommend recommend you give it a try.
