The Ambiance was beautiful ❤️, food was amazing. Everything we ordered was delicious and the drinks were great. The service was fantastic, the staff are very friendly and great. Would definitely come back again.

Food delivery was slow. 4 tostones were served with a full thing of guacamole for $25 and server never appeared to offer us the ability to obtain more. Drinks were watered down and the overall experience was terrible compared to the UES location which is generally excellent

Octopus Ceviche was the king, but every single dish is really well done. Server should be more patient, this is New York. The restaurant decor is really charme and well decorated. Overall is the best Peruvian restaurant in NYC

We chose Mission Ceviche to celebrate Father’s Day—it was the first time my father and husband dined there, and I was excited to share the experience. While the hostess and manager were warm and attentive, unfortunately, the service from our waitress left much to be desired. She seemed disinterested and inattentive throughout the evening. No recommendations were offered for food or drinks, and we were never asked if we wanted refills. I waited over 10 minutes for a second drink, which she had clearly forgotten to order. After our entrees, we ordered dessert, and while we were still enjoying the Chirimoya Mousse, she placed the check on the table, making us feel rushed. Although the food was excellent and we understand it was a busy evening, the lackluster service put a damper on what should have been a special celebration. This was my third time dining at Mission Ceviche—my first visit was wonderful, which makes this experience even more disappointing. I hope this feedback helps improve consistency in service going forward.

Great quality food, amazing taste. Drinks are overpriced and not as good. Service was of medium quality, servers didn’t know their menu well. Wrong drink order because of it.

This was my first time eating here. The restaurant is very open and spacious, especially considering it's located in the middle of NYC. Most mid-level restaurants in Manhattan are nowhere near this large. My friend and I both wondered/remarked that...they must be paying a small fortune for the rent, and that in order to make a profit they will need to have a constant flow of customers, especially since this is not a chain or 'fast food' restaurant with a constant turnover of clients. We had to wonder how long this place might last...and if they over-estimated how successful they might eventually be. The space itself, and the decor, are quite nice. We particularly liked the more 'private', round tables towards the back, and which have some truly beautiful hanging 'rope sculptures' of sorts, surrounding the tables. As for the food itself, we chose (from the Brunch menu) a Fish & Chips sandwich, and a scallop ceviche dish. The fish & chips sandwich came on a brioche bun, with some type of a melted cheese topping, along with pickles and red onion. It was just OK. There was a lot of 'bun', such that it overpowered the fish, and the cheese didn't exactly complement the fish. It was all a bit 'too much'. It also came with 'truffle fries', which were also just 'OK'....nothing spectacular. My friend said her scallop ceviche was good.... Overall, I feel that this place is more focused on decor and ambiance, and creating a vibe of 'desirability' (for mainly tourists ..or else people more likely to fall victim to 'trendy' new restaurants)...and that this place succeeds much less so, on the actual food - especially as compared to the decor.
