Our family had a wonderful experience for a celebratory dinner. Our server and restaurant staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, our food came out sooner than expected (including the beef Wellington, which was perfectly done), and everything was delicious. We felt it was more than worth the price point for the quality of food and given the special occasion.

My husband and I dined at Butcher and Rose for our anniversary. Everything from the food, ambience, and service were excellent! This is clearly one of, if not the best steak house in Columbus! Our server, Rose, was attentive and knowledgeable about the restaurant, food, and drinks. It was cool to hear about the decisions that went into the menu as well as how the restaurant embodies the Butcher (masculine) and Rose (feminine). Her friendly banter helped to make our night extra special. We sat in one of the booths that they jokingly called the “kings seat”. It clearly was a great spot to sit. It overlooked the beautiful decor of the restaurant. The food was fabulous! I am gluten free and the restaurant did a great job of meeting my needs without taking away from the meal. My husband and I both had filet. I had mine with a peppercorn crust. For sides we ordered the Potato Anna and the glazed carrots. The steak was amazing - cooked perfectly. When I tasted the potatoes, the first word out of my mouth was, “wow”! The carrots were so flavorful and delicious! The pistachio crusted top was really unique and “yum”! For dessert, we had the cheesecake and the crème brûlée. Both desserts are gluten free. They were fabulous. I would highly recommend the crème brûlée. Butcher and Rose puts a nice twist on it. We will be back!

We dined to celebrate our anniversary! It was everything we expected & more! Jennifer was an AMAZING server. We loved every item & bite!

We had an incredible meal featuring stuffed lobster, ribeye, mac and cheese, creamed spinach, and buttered bread—everything was spot on. The steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked just right, the stuffed lobster was flavorful and generously portioned, and the mac and cheese was surprisingly great—some steakhouses miss the mark, but they nailed it. Even the creamed spinach was a standout. Our server, Janelle, was fantastic—attentive, helpful, and genuinely kind, making the experience even better. The price point is definitely on the higher side, but the food and service make it worth it. Definitely a spot for a special occasion or a well-deserved treat.

Amazing space with excellent food and staff to match. The evening had a wonderful pace and delicious offerings. I appreciated the fantastic mock tails too.

This was our first time here and had heard a lot of great things about it. Let me tell you, it lived up to the food at ambience expectations without a doubt. Not an inexpensive meal, but the flavors were superb and every dish was hot. Only downside, was our waiter. He was a very nice gentleman And took good care of us when he was at the table. We did go longer between him stopping by than what we are accustomed to in high-end restaurants, such as this. I suspect he had more tables than he could efficiently take care of. I will also say that the ancillary serving staff were spot on and checked on us regularly. ancillary. Even with the in frequent check ups on us from our waiter would certainly return. Again, I did not put this on him as he was very pleasant when he was with us and feel he just had an overwhelming number of tables all busy at the same time.
