Kosura was amazing! Her drinks and food recommendations were on point. 👌🏾 The owner was also wonderful, coming to ask my friend and I how we were doing as we dined for lunch.

It was my bday and I really wanted to like this place the hostess was inattentive basically acted like we was there and others because they where overwhelmed Waiter didn’t properly understand English the drink I ordered with my hubby was not good food was just ok ambience was nice music to loud could even talk at dinner :(

The Continent D.C. did not disappoint! As soon as we walked in we were greeted and seated. All of the staff was very nice, accommodating and they checked in to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. The mocktails were tasty, the oyster appetizer as well and the snapper platter was filling and tasty for two. I appreciated the various dipping sauces and that they had options that weren't spicy for the tame of tongue. The ambiance was gorgeous and I liked all the decor touches, art and color choices. We were greeted by two managers and appreciate their attention. Highly recommend! Also for special events as they have the space!

First visit. Sunday nights are on fire! Very loud , amazing music. Incredible food. Had a hard time choosing. As a vegan, usually only have one choice. Not here. I-had lots of options, all delicious. If you're looking for a change of scenery and interesting menu, give it a try. Also, dress smart!

First time experience. Loved the ambience and music. Loved the friendliness of the staff. Loved the lamb chops and beef samosas.

I really enjoyed my time at The Continent, Ms. Nikki was very attentive, and made some great suggestions, according to my dietary needs. I went with the Red Snapper, Jollof Rice, and Spinach. My drink was the Malawi. My companion had the Wings, Jollof Rice, and Samosas. My food was delicious! My spinach was a little heavy on the chili powder, but beyond that, I would definitely eat here again. The decor was beautiful, The music and ambience was just right.

We came from West Virginia to go to this restaurant that we found online. The food was amazing, but the service could have been better. Our server was nice, but he clearly had too many tables to handle them comfortably and we spent a lot of time waiting for him whenever we needed something. We ended up forgoing dessert because we didn’t know how long it would take for it to come to our table. But we would definitely visit again. The ambience was amazing as was the food!
