   A base of pasta. A few simple ingredients, perfectly prepared. Excellent bread to sop up the sauce. A glass or two of good wine. Neighbors running into each other. Everything at very reasonable prices given the quality. Bettola is the perfect San Francisco neighborhood restaurant. Go there.

   Everything about our dinner was fabulous: the food was perfectly prepared, the ambience relaxing and our waiter was attentive and personable. Can’t wait to go back!!

   I think they have some kinks to work out. The food was ok. The menu is primarily dishes that are made in advance and heated to order. I think that might be why we and other reviewers were served dishes that had not been warmed enough. Tiramisu was good. On balance, the restaurant was ok. Wouldn’t go back again until they had it figured out a bit better.

   This a hidden gem in the Richmond - excellent Italian (homemade) recipes with outstanding and friendly service. The restaurant has an approachable menu (price-wise) unlike other overpriced Italian restaurants. The portions are adequate. The pasta could be a little more seasoned to our taste.

   I ordered lasagne which looked like it was just put under the broiler and burned on top. No cheese just a brown top. No bread came with the lasagne.. That was extra. The lasagne was already too expensive for what you got.

   Food was room temperature to cold. Everything that we had. The cheese that filled it up the croquettes were even fridge cold in the inside. Vibes were cute but i wouldn’t come back. Felt like the focus more in the to go and have everything semi ready to go than to the restaurant food that supposed to be freshly made.

   Love the cozy eclectic design of Bettola. Food was delicious - had lasagne and tiramisu. Only downside was that our 4 dinners were delivered about 10 minutes apart.

    Fun time and a very satisfying meal. Nice variety of well prepared rustic dishes, and all at reasonable cost for a neighborhood restaurant. I’ll definitely return and look forward to doing so.
