Kirby was our server. She was so sweet and understanding. My party was running late and she had to let us know that the reservation was only for an hour and a half regardless of my party being late. The way she delivered the message was so kind and thoughtful. She didn't try to make us feel bad nor did she get rude. She made sure we felt valued as customers. I will definitely request her when I come back and hope she works that day! She made my out of town guest want to come back just for the experience again!!!

This was my first dining experience at Mahogany River Terrance. I loved the ambiance and the jazz band that performed. I ordered the catfish with greens and cornbread thought I was getting a side of macaroni with the meal but instead found out I substituted that out. My appetizer never arrived the manager suspected it was taken to the wrong table. It was removed from my bill. The drinks were good. The portions were modest but good. I still was hungry I will go back just to give them a chance to redeem themselves.

I do not recommend Mahogany River Terrace. I ordered the lamb chop medium well and they came out medium rare with blooding running all over the plate. Remade for a second time the exact same way. I asked the waiter to just take them off my ticket since they were wrong for the 2nd time and he told me I can just take them home and cook them sone more. Then I asked for a receipt after I paid for my drinks and the waiter told me he had to walk to far to get it. What a way to celebrate a birthday.

Overall great ! But was disappointed to not get actual table assigned for a party of 11. The staff made it up with champagne! Food and taste was excellent ! A must stop,when back in Memphis!

Mahogany was and always a great experience… it was a lil warm when I got there but they finally turned on the air…our food was delicious in taste but it was not hot nor warm had to send it back.. no music was playing…I don’t want to hear others talking while I’m eating.. they normally have instrumental music playing but it stopped the 1st 10 mins.. just small things need to be fixed but the overall experience is always Great!

My husband and I enjoyed lunch today at Mahogany River Terrace. We had Cajun Shrimp & Grits and Fried Catfish and the Loaded Mashed Potatoes. Both meals exceeded our expectations and the customer service was excellent.

My greens were cold. The macaroni was dry. The chicken was seasoned good but too much black inside. The restaurant Over all is overrated!
