The cost of eating out has increased dramatically, but we had no choice since we are traveling. Recommended by our B&B host. Food was good.

We had a very nice and delicious dinner at South Gate Brewing Co after a day of hiking in Yosemite. We really enjoyed their IPA’s and yummy beer battered fish tacos. Service was also quick and friendly. We highly recommend visiting here for a bite to eat!

We've dined here twice. We had an awesome experience both times. The food was delicious, our server, Josh, was terrific! He was attentive and answered all of our questions. We already know what we wish to try on our next visit. Blu-tang burger was the best burger I've ever had. Pulled pork was a crowd pleaser, fish n chips were battered in a tasty beer batter, the macncheese was creamy and luscious. I'm looking forward to a pizza with fennel sausage when we return tomorrow. We recently moved to Yosemite and are thrilled to know we can dine out at a place we really enjoy. I recommend reservations because it's very popular in Oakhurst!

I hate to say it, but not impressed. We dined here after a busy travel day. Made reservations as suggested at 3pm- so in between busy times. The restaurant was not busy. The food was ok, we had a variety of items- the Brussel sprouts on the appetizer menu were great, the kids pizza was a generous portion… but my daughter got the steak and didn’t love it. It was overcooked and coated in a sweet sauce she wasn’t expecting. Just not great. The service overall was pretty poor. Waited a long time to place orders, they never brought out plates for appetizers and never cleared the appetizer dishes when dinner was brought out so the table was just a mess. And in the midst of all this, we could never really even find our server to ask for what we needed. Also, all of our meals were brought out separately by kitchen staff and we waited awhile before everyone at the table got their food. In general it just wasn’t a great experience.

The food is good. The beers are interesting. The servjce is great: very cool attitude. However, as many place in USA, the restrooms are dirty and cleanliness is neglected badly.

Food was great! Service waiter is not one of their best. Always seem to get bad service from this waiter when we have him. He does well with tables of 2 to 4. But when you get above 4 people he lacks in his service ability. We love this restaurant. We are locals and recommended this restaurant to anyone traveling through. But as for the service side, most do a great job.
