Very small, average buffet for a special day like Mothers Day. Beautiful view but disappointing

Depends on what you are looking for here. If you want stellar views (for Dallas), walls of glass, and a very unique setting for Dallas, this was great. If you want excellent food and great service? This lacks a lot. Food for a venue like this definitely wasn't up to par - It told me people come here for the views, not the food quality. Average/mediocre everything - Nothing was really tasty and to write home about. The dessert menu they had put out for Mother's Day was not bad. Service - I thought this also was a far cry from the 'view' and what this club is supposed to be known for. Had to call a server over regularly - Rarely they came and checked on us. We asked for cream cheese for a bagel, and they brought us over a bowl of what looked like liquid ranch - Surely, they know what cream cheese is, and this was not it. And another tacky thing was that as we walked into our reservation, they pulled me aside and charged us for the meal before we ever sat down. Literally haven't seen that ever, in any upscale restaurant. Bottom line: Views are awesome - A unique and different thing for Dallas, but dont' expect the food quality, taste, or service to match it.

Took my family here for Mother's Day and was disappointed. On Open Table there was listing for A La Carte or Buffet and I thought I had selected the A La Carte option. We get there and only the brunch buffet is available. I go to ask the hostess how much the buffet is per person and she said she wasn't sure and needed to look it up. It was $65+ a person which is pretty hefty for a buffet. We go to get our food and come back realizing we don't have silverware. I go back to the buffet across the entire restaurant to see if it was there but couldn't find any and asked. The employee working the buffet told me that the server would've placed them on the table. I figured I had missed them so I went back, but no so I went back to the bar and asked for silverware. Also, they were serving complimentary prosecco for the moms and my mom wanted another glass and tried to order and our server didn't know what kind it was. The food selection was great but most of it was lukewarm or stale after being left out for so long. Finally, after asking if they could validate our parking ticket, our server didn't know the answer to that either and had to go ask. I used to be a bartender and server so I'm very understanding when it comes to service industry workers. But to pay over $400 for a family of four including drinks and service charge (which was 20% of our bill but said it wasn't a tip or gratuity, which I've never seen before?) I expect better food and for the servers and hostesses to be knowledgeable on basic information on the logistics of your restaurant's special event.

My steak was perfect and tasty. Servers were friendly, but seemed disorganized and confused. Slow, but that was ok and we told them in the beginning we were not in a hurry/ chatting with friends. Seemed like the servers were new/ inexperienced. Loved the view/ decor. Our drinks were delicious and came promptly. My friend ordered med rare flank steak. It came out well done. She couldn’t cut it. Sent it back. Second time perfect. Our fingerling potato’s came out well seasoned, but cold and raw. Friend sent hers back/ same/. Then server offered to bring out a big dish since all were cold and raw. Same.
