I rarely rave about burgers... I eat them when I'm really hungry. But the Jerk-seasoned burger with pineapple was a revalation. Everyone at our table was thrilled with their meals. Great space! I'm not a big fan of live music and eating. So that noise level was not ok. If I knew there was live music, I would have come back another night.

Orchid Fusion in Dedham is always a vibe! Our server Zeek was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond and stepped in help us to the finish line. We're requesting you when we come back. I had the garlic fries and the pork plantain tacos yummie. The only consistent letdown? No sliced avocado , just guac... and still no pikliz! That extra kick would elevate so many of these dishes. I'm seriously tempted to BMOP (bring my own pikliz) next time. And to the chocolate loc'd bartender... THANK YOU from the whole krew! Not one of us had a drop of alcohol, but your existence alone was the real pour. Orchid, we love you, just tighten up the speed a bit (you discounted the meal) and you would have 5 stars and we would be golden. Keep shining !

The food was not what we expected or wanted. The didn’t have the flavor we expected or wanted for a Carribean restaurant. We were pretty disappointed with the appetizers & didn’t stay for dinner; we went somewhere else which is sad. The place is nice and the music & vibes were good but the food just was not good at all.

We've been to Orchid 7 a few times before this, but unfortunately this time was a poorer experience. We walked in to have a family meal, and first thing we noticed was the band volume was "extremely high" (we could feel it in our throats). I love the background music they sometimes have, but this felt like a concert, and we couldn't even hear each other to start our meal. The food in general is good, but service was very poor. We ordered our main courses, and noticed there was a bit of a delay. Eventually someone came over (in such a nonchalant way) and said "we have no more chicken, you have to pick something else"... like, OK! Sadly after this, things just got worse... plates were coming out sporadically, and one of our meals "never" even came out (i.e., Steak), and they didn't even come over to apologize for this. It was as if they thought it was ok it was very delayed. Anyway, we had to immediately close our bill, spoke to the manager about this and excited (after being there for almost 3 hours). Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

The sauce in the Shrimp Alfredo Pasta was very heavy/ thick. Not creamy at all. And the 4 shrimp were just placed on top of the pasta, rather than mixed in. However, the flavor was very good!
