This was our second visit and it was wonderful - again ! Small, nuanced menu with great service and ambience.

Ryan the waiter could sell anything! He was personable, knowledgeable, and on target in all of his recommendations: The “blt sandwich” quite tasty and unusual, the fried chicken moist and crispy, Mac and cheese to die for, and banana pudding gelato perfect. Although the “brisket meatloaf” dinner was flavorful enough, the meats were not quite as tender as anticipated. Will we return? Definitely. Excellent dinner location for Chesterton.

Our waiter provided excellent & friendly service. Pleasant & beautiful interior. Food menu is limited, but each dish surprises you in a good way. We enjoyed all our food. Food is correctly priced, while wine by the glass is a bit high (and red wine should come a little bit less warm).

Bryan (Ryan?) was an amazing server!! Our first time here but it will not be the last! Planning to return with friends and family. The cheddar cornbread was amazing, the tomato blt was also amazing, my ribs were so tender. Compliments to the chef!!

Service was great. Would have liked a little more details on the dishes. Ex: apricot chicken with side salad. But they don’t say it’s on top of cuscious. It’s ravioli doesn’t say with asparagus and mushrooms or type of sauce. But everything was delicious. Drinks were different but delicious. We will go back!

While visiting the area, my wife and I dined at Root & Bone for dinner. The service was excellent from the start and we had zero wait time. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered cocktails from the bar that were fantastic. Our dinner options were absolutely awesome!! Overall , the atmosphere was amazing and fun. I highly recommend this restaurant if in the Chesterton area.

Over priced with limited food selection for Mother’s Day dinner. Food was tasty but my sangria was very weak. Will not return.

Great experience. Not an extensive menu, but all plates we chose were delicious! Beautiful interior and impeccable service. It was a gem where we certainly will go back.
