Perfect lunch spot for our group of 8. Wasn’t too busy, we got lovely service and amazing menu, especially the gf options and beautiful pastas and starters. Perfect spot in the Richmond!

Neighborhood sleeper hit. The property and ambiance has a lot of personality - it almost looks like it used to be multiple businesses that Bella has expanded into over the years, so you have a mix of a really fancy bar, casual booths, a more proper dining room, but then a surprise pool table in the back. Basically a little bit of everything for a fun time. The free bread is deceptively good, especially with their sundried tomato spread, but don't fill up on it because you won't be able to get to the rest of the meal! We enjoyed all our appetizers, and our pasta entrees. But the real star of the show here is their desserts. The Tiramisu is very good, but the honestly have to have one of the best Panna Cottas in the city, so go that route. After the first bite of the Panna Cotta, you won't want to share, so everyone needs their own. The strawberry compote with the balsalmic glaze is *chef's kiss*. Good for large groups - we had a last minute reservation for 8 and they were able to accommodate us, primarily due to the eclectic layout they have! Service is also great - it makes you feel more like you're at someone's home rather than a restaurant - i.e. not stiff, and they're not afraid to have some fun with you - like low key judging you if you ask for cheese on a seafood pasta, but then throwing in extra bruschetta to your appetizer to ensure everyone has a piece at no extra charge. The definition of "hospitality".

I was absolutely surprised. This was only my 2nd time to go here and I went with a group of 8 and we shared all the dishes. They were all good. I will definitely go back.

I came with a party of seven for two friend’s birthday’s and it was perfect. The bartender Andres was a little quiet at first, but he warmed up and was incredibly gracious and friendly! The servers and server support made all of us feel like family and helped up celebrate. I definitely recommend this place for locals or visitors alike.

The menu for entrees were very limited, to only4 choices and the fresh fish was not available. So, I had to get the trout. It was dry and needed more seasoning. It seems their specialty was pasta and appetizers and not main/meat courses. Desserts were also very limited.

We had the hanger steak and swordfish special preceded by a gorgeous beet and orange salad, and the house bread with sundried tomato infused oil. Was it beautifully presented? Yes! Who cares, unless you embarrass yourself by nearly licking the the plate clean because it tasted that good. I think the pic of our empty plates does a better job of explaining the quality of food here. The service (and cocktails) were equally amazing. We live in the neighborhood and come here often for 18+ yrs. Trust that you will have a good experience here!
