    Some of the food was amazing…Ahi, pork collar, short rib. Some of the food was good but not mind blowing..sea urchin, pasta (second course), sticky toffee. Service was outstanding.

    We’ve loved Sepia over the years but Covid interuptus kept us away for too long! So upon their receipt of their well deserved Michelin Star (again) we determined to break the seal and experience Sepia as it is today. It was really quite good years ago yet now, Chef Zimmerman has brought the menu to a new level incorporating elevated technique with a plethora of global flavors. The very reasonably priced pre-fixe four courses come across as a nuanced discovery of progressive flavors, textures and ingredients. We did not do the wine pairing but after selecting a delish Viognier blend, the wine pairing would be a great way of experiencing many more of the amazing wines on their list. Service is astute, and engaging, but not stuffy or overbearing. Congratulations to Emanuel Nony, Chef Z and their amazing team for a great evolution.

    The first course is tuna which taste delicious. The mushroom provide a rich flavor to tuna. It really raise our expectation. The second course is foie gras. That is not bad but too common the soup doesn't help this course. The third course is duck which is terrible. Hard to chow. totally nightmare. The desert also full of sugar which is terrible.

    A really solid experience. Everything was plated well and the flavors were aligned, save the fois gras and sable fish which were underwhelming. The drinks were unique and balanced. Service was welcoming and ensured we were taken care of. We look forward to returning.

    Disappointed.... The food was excellent, but service needs to be stepped up and revisited by management. It was slow, impersonal and unprofessional. (while it was friday night, the restaurant was not at full capacity, so "busy" would be a poor excuse). Our waitress left us with the menus, came back to take our orders, as if we were at a fast food restaurant..... (typically at a restaurant of this caliber, you'd expect for your waitress to tell you in some level of detail about the amazing items on the multi-course menu...). Eventually, after we just set there sipping water for 10 minutes, she remembered, that perhaps it's worth to ask if we wanted a cocktail, came back again.... We waited over 30 minutes between the first and second course.... In the meantime, our water was not refilled and we had to ask twice for our empty plates to be taken away. At one point, we ended up with empty plates that were just sitting stacked up between the 2nd and 3rd course.... Dessert was served... We were waiting to be asked if perhaps we'd like some tea or coffee.... We ended up finishing our dessert and I finally asked the bus boy to call our waitress to ask if they serve tea and coffee.... She said they do. I expressed my concern of not being even asked if we would like some.... To which she replied that she usually serves tea and coffee AFTER dessert.... I inquired what type of tea they have, to which she said "black and herbal". (not even listing the types.... It sounded like "we have lipton and lipton" and if you are a fine tea drinker, you'd find this type of answer insulting....) We walked out with a $320+ tips bill per couple, knowing that this type of service just does not belong in any restaurant.... And I repeat, the food was outstanding - well balanced, beautiful presentations and served at the right temperature. Management - please revisit your levels of service.... this was just not right....

    Absolutely amazing dining experience. 100% recommend the caviar course. Make sure you do the drink pairing. The dessert was underwhelming and the pairing was extremely too sweet. The cheese board was also underwhelming. Other courses and pairings were divine. .

    Table was wobbly. Server seemed uninterested. Was nice to have an amuse bouche for our anniversary. Dessert came with a happy anniversary note which was faded and could barely be read. Was expecting a better experience since you received a Michelin star for 2023.

    Sepia did not disappoint on our first visit. Personalized and friendly service, simply beautifully presented dishes that tasted so good it made us laugh with delight. Basically, what you would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant, including the cost. Save up for a special occasion. Very highly recommended.

    Absolutely incredible meal from start to finish. I had the crudo which was crisp and light while others in my group had the tartare and tabbed about it. The cavatelli was very tasty and the duck was SO good. The duck empanada that comes with it was to die for and the pineapple dessert was spectacular, just super flavorful and fresh. The wine pairing was on point, the service very good.

    We’ve been going to Sepia for my birthday for about 10 years. And it is consistently great, but the meal we had on Nov 4 was sublime. Every single dish was rave worthy. The drinks were also top tier… but the food! Omg!

    Sepia provided a great experience. The flavors were unique and the dishes were robust. I loved the options available for each course. It allowed us to create our own tasting menus. While there are four courses, they also provided a bread course and 'appetizer.' I also recommend the optional cheese course. That one dish was beyond special. My personal standout dish was the dry aged rohan duck. It was perfection. The service was unlike anything I had experienced before. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond. We were celebrating our 15th anniversary and team at Sepia made sure to make this milestone extra special even going so far as making a special dessert to celebrate. From the moment we entered the restaurant until the time that we left, the experience was incredible.

    The first time we went in 2020 the food and service was impeccable. As soon as we sat the waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and kind. We lovvvved everything! Fast forward to Nov 2023. The service was great. The food didn't have the same flair and wasn't exciting as my previous visit. Me and my guest felt the energy of the food and wasn't happy. Maybe it's the season. We may give it one more try.
