First visit. It was a Monday night when it was 95F so the restaurant was not busy. The bar was busier. The guacamole was bland, the tortilla chips a bit greasy. The fish tacos were great but 4 are too much for one person. Next time I will ask for a half order. The pork was good but over priced. The waiter was very good and managed to fine tune the sangria from Kool Aid sweet to more like sangria. With tip $150. The meal and drinks were worth maybe $75.

We ate on patio which was good for maintaining a low noise level. Everything was great!

What was ordered: Salmon Entree, Bruselas, Guacamole Salmon Entree was an interesting dish - with its sweet sauce, this dish flavor was more of a Chinese takeout “taste”. It’s like I ordered General Tso’s. Would not order this (Salmon) again. The bruselas have potential - instead of bell peppers maybe some minced jalapeños to add some heat; as well as less of the sauce used for the Bruselas that reminds me of chamoy. The mint leaves add a nice touch but instead of whole leaves perhaps minced or hand torn so the oils mix with the dish itself. Would order again! Guacamole, well - everybody has their own version let’s just say that. Next time I come back - will most likely lean towards the steak/beef dish options.

Everything was delicious! We went to Hoja Santa and loved every bite. The butternut squash was surprisingly amazing so flavorful. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, juicy and full of taste. The bone marrow was incredible. You can really tell how much care goes into each dish. The atmosphere was great and the service was excellent Katherine is super friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Everything about this experience was great. Loved the Sangria, with its’ subtle spices and rich fruitiness. We ordered the Tuna Crudo, butternut squash dish, arugula salad and Filet Mignon. Each was delicious and so nicely seasoned. Desert of mango sorbet came with caramel drizzle that added the perfect compliment to cap off the meal.

I thought I made standard reservations but was seated in the bar at a high top. After ordering cocktails and a few apps to start, the hostess came over to inform us that due to the volume of reservations that we would be limited to 90 minutes. We ended up not ordering much more because space on table was limited and we now had a time restriction. The food we had was good, but due to the service and seating we left after apps and drinks and went somewhere else. At the time we left there were empty tables.

I ordered the ribeye tacos and my friend ordered the salmon. It was very nice outside so we ate in their front patio on Lake street which with bikes riding through can get hectic. The chef prepared a few small loaded Nachos which are not on the menu and so delicious we asked if we could order a small plate of them which was accommodated and killed my appetite so I didn’t eat a lot of my food and have leftovers! The service was excellent and the food was delicious.
