Either Open Table or Messina are responsible to publish in the Open Table app that there is a mandatory service charge of 22! It is noted in the restaurant menu, but it was too late to look for another place once we were already there. Messina says is to increase the personnel’s wages, the please list how much of the service charge you distribute to employees. Service charge is a hidden way to increase your prices. Food was appropriate, nothing extraordinary. Attention was good, but charging the prices that you do I was expecting a much better food quality. You expect dirty places from appetizers to be removed from table before you bring your entree. I don’t recommend this place, don’t brag about how good you are to your employees with service charge! Improve your food quality, charge more, and maybe you will do better.

Was a great experience from start to finish! Couldn't have enjoyed ourselves more, honestly. Great cocktails, appetizers, pasta of course, and service/hospitality. Can't wait to take our friends back here.

Had a great time at dinner last night. Our server was very friendly. We ordered the pasta flight and the way the bring out the flight is so fun! The food tasted great. awesome wine selections. The hostess were very understanding to your situation and moved our reservation around to help us out without any difficulty!

We didn’t try the pasta flight because we were only two people. The eggplant caponata was amazing, the pastas were decent but not that great. It took several minutes before the hostess greeted us even though the place was half empty, the first table assigned was dirty and the service overall was slow. Not a great value for your buck.

My family and I really enjoyed our dinner here. The pasta flight is so fun and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be returning and bringing other friends and family here.

We ended being late for our reservation due late ferries and they were able to accommodate us. They were very efficient, which was wonderful because we were under a time deadline still. Food was excellent. The panic bars on the doors to the bathroom threw me off. The doors are are well marked but it still looked like an exit to me. My bad.

Server Abe was attentive. Bartender Robert knew I was a fan of Hennessy cognac and made a delicious cocktail of “dealer’s choice”. Caesar salad was delicious along w the anchovy filet. We did the petite messina flight w cacio e pepe, pesto, and bolognese. Pesto was my fave. Ooh cant forget bread served w black truffle butter! Dinner was followed up w a pistachio and hazelnut gelato!
