Very attractive place, nicely decorated. Service was good. We thought that their wine/drink list was very good and offered at reasonable prices. The food was not overly expensive but considerably more than the average neighborhood place which this is not looking to be. Appetizers were very good as was their butternut soup. I had the 9oz steak which was a disappointment honestly. It was tough..tough to cut and tough to chew and was delivered rare as opposed to medium rare. Their short rib was excellent. Bottom line, it's good but not as good as it should be for the price point...and probably a place which we not visit again soon..

I was surprised the drinks were measured. I had a martini that was a little bit over half the glass. Our friends got vodka on ice and it was half the glass and ice to the top. We switched to beer. The grouper was fantastic and the hamburger was enormous

The food was cooked well but not adequately seasoned which was disappointing. Steak and shrimp perfectly cooked just no seasoning

It was great accept for the noise level as it got more crowded it got very loud and it made it difficult for conversation at your table

This was our first time eating at Palm and Ivy and we will definitely be back. Food was fantastic! I will say that we would prefer to only come here with 2 to 4 other people at the most because it is on the loud side so it would be harder to have conversations with the noise level, but that won’t keep us from coming back. When the weather is nice, I would opt for eating outside for a quieter noise level. i’m looking forward to trying other things on the menu, the halibut was absolutely fantastic.

Our first time since moving to Hobe Sound. Our table wasn’t ready for our 6:30 reservations so we had a cocktail at the bar. For a cosmopolitan martini and an old fashion with tip came to $52.00. We thought that was extremely pricey. We started with crispy calamari which was delicious. We split a wedge salad which was fresh. I got the halibut and the wife ordered the fish special. The waitress came back and said they were out of the fish special, for a 6:30 reservation? She then ordered the Maryland crab cake. We are both from Baltimore Maryland and that was no Maryland crab cake. It didn’t have the backfinn lump crabmeat and too much filler. My fish was very good. We brought a bottle of wine and the corkage was reasonable at $25.00. We’ll be back for another try.
