I was excited to try Citizens and Culture for my birthday. I'd heard great things. I made a reservation for a large group and confirmed several times. When I got there my table wasn't ready and they only allow you a 90 minute time slot. Regardless, brunch was going to end before my 90 minutes was up. When they finally did seat us, the table and chairs were something you'd have at a backyard bbq. When our server came over she didn't instruct whether or not we could start the buffet just said she would be there for drinks and whatever we needed. Told me the mimosas were self serve unless everyone at the table did it. Then disappeared before I could let her know what we wanted to do. When she finally returned, I told her we wanted mimosas for the table. When she finally returned we were already halfway through brunch. Additionally, they had several flavors and she didn't ask me which ones we wanted. At one point she was standing there and I kept trying to get her attention to refill the mimosas because we were empty and brunch was ending. Finally someone next to her was able to get her to come over to me. Aside from the horrible customer service, the food was good. The buffet was extensive. I think it's worth the money. the music was extremely loud. My ears are still ringing days later. I liked the music but it was too loud for comfort. Lastly, the rooftop is closed in and it's extremely hot! I thought it was going to be open. We had to keep going outside to get air. I think if I went back I'd try the downstairs level where it's less noisy and they have AC.

Definitely was a much younger crowd than I expected. My party ranged from 50-60. That really didn't bother us much. The food was delicious! It was $50 each, so I expected more food options. It was not air conditioned upstairs, but it wasn't uncomfortable not. We had 1:30 reservations and were told upon entry that we only had 90 minutes. I'm sure we stayed a little over that time. I think two hours is reasonable. The DJ was good and we enjoyed the karaoke which is the reason we wanted to go. Mimosas were an extra $25 per person, but I'm pretty sure we didn't drink that much and you could only pick one flavor rather than try them all. As we were leaving, there was a line inside and outside waiting to get in so it's definitely a popular place. The crowd was still very young I'm my opinion. Everyone was probably in their 30s except for another group of ladies that came prior to us leaving.

This place is trashhhhhhhhh like I really can not find the words to describe how terrible this experience was. We got here they sat us in the corner at a plastic table with a table cloth the food was cold then the silverware was plastic and not the good kind the kind you can’t even cut the food with. Now let’s get into it real quick I went to speak to a manger about my experience and request a refund because I paid $50 never ate I didn’t drink any liquor all I wanted was my money back. He refused to give me my money back. People work hard for their money it’s no reason why I shouldn’t have been refunded.

Great place to brunch with friends. A bit loud for talking before 3pm. Background music is nice and then rev up after 3 for the day party. I would return. The back patio must be open if not it’s hot up there.

My reservation was not honored. The gentleman at the door was like $20 which was no problem, but he would not allow me to get in a space to pay him the money however, I paid him the money we entered and it was not a vibe I only stayed because my girlfriend wanted to give it a chance we never got anything to eat so the advertisement for brunch past 3 o’clock is not correct. I understand it’s supposed to be brunch in a day party and that’s what we was looking forward to, but that is not what we got.

I came here to celebrate my birthday with a party of 12, and while the food was great, the overall experience was disappointing. The music was way too old-school—even for me at 38. I was hoping for a mix of ’90s-2000s R&B, but instead, we got the same outdated playlist. They even told us a new DJ would come in at 1:30, but when he did, he just replayed the same songs. To make things worse, the staff asked us to give up our seats and move outside, claiming another group was coming at 2:30. We stayed outside until 4:00, and no one ever took our original seats—meaning the host straight-up lied to us. That really put a damper on the celebration. The food was solid, but the music and the way we were treated left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t come back, especially for a special occasion.
