Katy is a wonderful server. The food and drinks were very good, as usual. It’s our new “go to” place for dinner.

Second time at Liberty Tavern/Polaris. We had made a reservation and was seated immediately by a courteous hostess. Our server was prompt, friendly, attentive and gave some helpful menu advice. We ordered drinks and spinach artichoke dip as a starter which was good. Two in our group of four ordered the 8 oz. steak, both ordered med-rare. The steaks were okay, but nothing special. A third ordered one of the pizzas and a fourth had the Philly Cheesesteak. The cheesesteak was a little disappointing...the cheese was served on the side (presumably for dipping) and the meat was a little on the skimpy side. As good or better a cheesesteak could be had at some of Columbus's sub houses. The fries were pretty good and seasoned well and were generous portions. Service was very good. Would I eat at Liberty Tavern again? Probably, but Ifelt a lot better about paying the tab knowing I had a decent Clipp coupon.

The waitress messed most of our orders. I wanted my burger sauce on the side. Nope. Granddaughter wanted Mac and Cheeses and plain burger her plain came with fries.

We visited for a Father’s Day dinner, hoping for an upscale bar food experience, but unfortunately, it missed the mark. The chicken fingers were mostly fried batter with hardly any chicken, and the hamburger lacked flavor and quality. My daughter did enjoy her salmon, which was the one bright spot of the meal. Overall, the food was average at best and didn’t match the expectations set by the menu or pricing. Disappointing experience, and not a place we’d choose to return to anytime soon.

Katy is a great server and the chef’s special (Shrimp and pasta with a light citrus sauce) was fantastic.

I have never tasted a worst rendition of cole slaw!! The Ceasar Salad was something, but not a Ceasar Salad. My wifes chicken strips were dry. We have been to this restaurant twice. We have been unimpressed both times. Easy to make a reservation. Quick seating. Nice servers. But the food is nothing to write home about. Darn shame too.
