Located in beautiful downtown Deadwood in the Historic Franklin Hotel is Legends Steakhouse. Legends provides an excellent dining atmosphere. Serving only the best quality food, featuring all hand cut Certified Angus Beef steaks that have been aged for 28 days. Legends also serves a variety of seafood. The shrimp crepes are a must try. You can enjoy great unique appetizers and mouth watering desserts. Legends has a full bar and an outstanding wine list with over 80 wines to choose from. The service at Legends is top notch, all of our servers are friendly and very educated on all of our menu items. Come to dine at Legends and you will not be disappointed. We were allowed to move because our table top was too high for our comfort. When the new waiter arrived( Rachel )her first comment complained that we were now in her section . We tried to make light of it thinking she was kidding and her comments worsened . Telling us to sit down so she could take our order as an example . As we had questions about menu items she rolled her eyes and answered sarcastically. After asking for samples of the local beers she rolled her eyes and we offered to go to bar for samples as not to bother her. She finally said ok it’s no problem . 4 guys meeting in Rapid City to explore the area and our first meal ruined by attitude. Customer Care training needed!

We had a lovely evening at Legends Steakhouse celebrating my husband's birthday. We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and flavorful, and followed it up with perfectly cooked steaks that were full of flavor. The service was excellent—our server was attentive without being overbearing—and the staff made us feel truly welcomed. The atmosphere had just the right mix of elegance and comfort, which made it a perfect setting for a special occasion. We’ll definitely be back!

Good was fantastic! The vanilla salad was a great starter with the fresh bread and garlic butter. My steak was perfectly cooked, tender and tasty. My wife’s salmon was perfectly cooked as well and she stated it was one of the best she’s tasted.

Food was great but we really had a great server. She was personable with just the right amount of interaction. We would dine here again.
