This is a great spot for oysters and cocktails. The oysters were some of the freshest and tastiest we've had in a long time, and the three sauces were delicious. However, the mains were good, but not great. The delicate flavor of lobster/crab ravioli was overpowered by the sage in the sauce. My husband's scallops and risotto were good. When the tables were nearly full it was overwhelmingly loud and the music was cranked up loud as well, plus when we came in at 6:45 the lighting was glaringly bright, it made it feel more like a diner than fine dining. Thankfully they lowered the lights later but it should have been done earlier. We'd return for oysters and cocktails but not sure about a full dinner. It seemed like many of the tables were just there for that as well.

Service was impeccable at Siren. Our wait staff were attentive, polite and offered recommendations. Must haves: oysters, fritto misto, crab cakes, bolognese entree. Their new drink piso sour was a hit. The branzino was delicious. Needs work: Some of the main dishes were a little bland so we asked for salt :( The Lobster/crab ravioli and also the short rib fell short. The minor disappointment was short lived after ordered the bread pudding dessert (must have). The team sang Happy Birthday and it was a nice end to the evening. All in all I'd rate Siren 8/10

This place has potential but needs a manager. The oysters are delicious and definitely the best part. The food took forever and came out in weird pairings. We expected oysters first. Then salad. Then entree. Everything (except entree) came out at the same time.

We’ve eaten here a couple of times. Our food was not as amazing this time. Both of our entrees weren’t that hot. Nothing was horrible but just okay.

Lovely restaurant with good food. It was very noisy and staff were overly hovering during my meal. The minute I finished my plate was gone without asking me if I was done.

The music level was a little high at times. At first the restaurant was a little chilly and drafty, but the server was very accommodating and closed the door. Very good and friendly service. Nice menu. Good food!

Nice little restaurant with windows that open to the street. Pleasant atmosphere and nice people. Good variety on menu. Our party of five enjoyed their choices. However I was the one who did not luck out in that area. I ordered soup and an appetizer of lamb chops. The soup never came; finally I asked the waiter who went to check on it — “Sorry, we’re out.” And the lamb chops, while beautiful with a delicious mint sauce, turned out to be mostly fat. I know that some is to be expected but the first one I cut into had almost no meat on it. (They did remove it from the bill.) Overall, this was a delightful evening, even considering those glitches.

So happy to have discovered this little gem in South Park Slope. It's a great place to enjoy oysters and cocktails at the bar. The pasta dishes are also excellent. Cheers!

This is a hidden gem. The food is delicious - every dish was excellent and the oysters during happy hour were a treat!
