Amazing food, sub par service… every time we wanted something we have to waive the waiter, not once did he come on his own, ordered a drink and he forgot about it. I dont know if it’s because he was from france but thats not what we generally expect in Montreal…

L’ambiance est bonne mais pas intimiste (difficile de s’entendre) Le service est très bon, personnel plus qu’agréable. Le gros soucis est la nourriture. C’est quand même l’essentiel pour un restaurant. Je connais très bien la cuisine Levantine, elle est raffinée, un doux accord entre l’ail, les épices et le citron. Au petit Alep, le houmous est vraiment trop acide et les falafels sont sèches. On perd toute la saveur et l’intérêt de cette cuisine qui devrait explosée en bouche. J’ai été très déçue car je m’attendais à une valeur sûre étant donnée le Bib gourmand de Michelin.

La nourriture est excessivement chère pour la quantité servie. Les entrées ne sont pas exceptionnelles et très petites portions. Le choix du vin est pauvre et le sommelier nous incite fortement ( beaucoup de pression) pour prendre le verre de vin plus cher car les autres soit ne sont pas disponibles ou le vin est mauvais. Très peu choix de vin. Ambiance correcte mais assez bruyante. Plat principal correct sans plus … pour un restaurant quand même évolué en termes de spécialité syrienne. Dessert était bon. Le niveau a baissé si nous tenons compte que nous fréquentons ce restaurant depuis des années.
