Pendolino is the new restaurant from chef-owner Kevin Maxey, debuting spring of 2024 in Atlanta. Taking up an Italian disposition – one where eating and culture are inseparable – we are proud to offer Chastain Park a classy-casual neighborhood place.
Come join us in our dining room or our sun-filled patio for an unbeatable setting. One side of the restaurant boasts a curved oak wood bar with casual café style seating, and views of the wood burning oven. The main dining room has a lux mix of comfy banquettes, graciously sized booths, and marble topped tables and there is a private dining room that can be enclosed for festive celebrations. Whether you are out for a date night or late night, feasting with friends or family, popping by for an afternoon snack or lingering for a special occasion, we can’t wait to host you.

Very inconsistent night. It took 25 mins from the time we were seated for our drinks to arrive. On the other hand it was an excellent drink. We had a cold and tasty Caesar salad with nice long leaves of romaine, but the the plates we were given to share it were right out of the hot dishwasher. Menu prices were modest and the portions were ample. However I thought that wine by the bottle didn’t offer much under $60. Large menu offering apps, small plates, pizza and entrees. Very limited number of pasta entrees . MAYBE 4 dessert options, three of which were gelato I think. Certainly had its bright spots

Our server Rashad was stellar. So attentive and professional. Our food was delicious and I had the most delightful cosmo. Kudos to the team!

Food good but overpriced as all pasta entrees were over $30 ; $28 for an old fashioned with Four Roses and Amaro Nonnino!; server presented check after entrees were finished and never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert which was very unusual (as restaurant was not crowded as we had an early reservation ) Bill for 2 prior to tipping was $122 (one shared appetizer, one shared salad, 2 cocktails, one pasta entree and one pizza as a main)

The food here is incredible and the drinks are great too. The prices are a little crazy though, even for Buckhead. We ordered the Focaccia appetizer and while it was amazing, it was $16 for a piece of focaccia that we barely split into 4 equal pieces for our family to share. And it’s bread, come on. And when you order a glass of wine, there certainly are no generous pours coming your way. They must squeeze out almost 7 glasses of wine per bottle (5 glasses per bottle is standard) We ordered the Chicken Parmesan entree and it was great but was $30+ for two pieces of chicken; did not include noodles or anything else. And both times that we have eaten here, our server has disappeared for long periods of time and at crucial moments, like making sure the table is clear for entrees or even bringing the entrees out. Other servers pitched in each time, but still, come on. So, the food is amazing but definitely room for improvement on the experience.

Great experience! Wonderful and friendly staff from the management to host, to wait staff. Everyone was so kind. Food was good! I will definitely be back!

Some friends and I went for the first time on Friday and had a wonderful experience. The service was top notch perfection. We had a few appetizers: the meatballs, cheese bread, calamari, and the octopus. The meatballs and cheese were so flavorful and wonderful. Definitely will be order those again. The calamari was over cooked and dry and a bit rubbery. The octopus was salty and a bit overcooked as well. We also had salads: Caesar salad and the chicory salad. Both were very delicious! For my entree I had the shrimp scampi. It was very flavorful, shrimp and pasta were cooked perfectly, the sauce wasn’t salty, and everything just worked well together. We had three different desserts: tiramisu, sea salt vanilla gelato, and the pistachio gelato. All three were simply delightful. So overall we had a wonderful first time experience at this restaurant and will definitely be back.

Drinks and food were fabulous! The calamari was chewy but all the Burrata dishes were delish. The homemade pasta with the sausage was really good but a tiny bit too spicy. Beautiful decor snd ambiance.
