It took the waitress a while to come to our table even though the restaurant was pretty empty (only two other tables in the whole restaurant) because of this, we decided to leave and go to a restaurant next door. The ambiance was beautiful though.

They close at 8:30 per the host but their website, google, OpenTable all say they are open until 10. When we arrived for our 8:30 reservation we waited at the host stand for a good bit before we were even aknowledged and then we were informed of their early closing with no cause or reason. We were really bummed because this is a reservation we booked days in advance and we're looking forward to.

I came there for the Jerk Chicken and Waffles event which they said you must book a table. When I get there they didn't even check in for tables and I was told to sit at the bar even though there was open seating. I have never been at a restaurant or event that does that. Just not a good experience and the meal was not worth the price.

The portions were very small, you had to go get your own water, they were out of sweet tea at the beginning of the event. We were forced to sit at a community table instead of a booth. Not a good experience.

Great 1st time experience. Area of opportunity with the service as our server disappeared during our time there: also the escovitch shrimp dish initially came out incomplete without the escovitch vinegar & peppers.

Greg and Subrina never disappoint. Their food is always top notch and that's never up for debate. My only issue was the waiter bringing the plates to use for the buffer to your table versus them just having them on a table next to buffet. It was Mother's Day so there was a steady crowd and we had to wait about 7 minutes for our server to come back to the table with plates. Other than that.. it was fine. I'll definitely go back. Im sure that's not the norm
