   This was my second visit to Claywood for a Saturday night dinner with my husband. Our first visit, we chose from the winter menu (excellent), and this time, they offered the spring menu. Once again, the chef has done an excellent job on the small and large plate options. I will be trying more of the small plates on my next visit so I’m able to experience more of those options. From the staff, food, efficiently run open kitchen, this restaurant is definitely doing things right.

   As someone who was raised in Hendersonville, it’s always special to see a local spot doing things right—and Claywood really delivers. The food is thoughtful and well-executed across the board. The arancini were crisp with a rich center, the gnocchi were light and fresh, and the pork belly was tender with great depth of flavor. The ribs had that perfect smoky finish, and the piadina was a great, shareable option. For dessert, the strawberry roll tasted like real fruit, and the ice cream was smooth and clean—not overly sweet. Big props to Chef Tory and Tyra in the kitchen for turning out consistently excellent dishes. Chris was a fantastic server—friendly, attentive, and knew his stuff. And major respect to the owner for creating a space that feels warm, intentional, and genuinely local. I grew up here, and it means a lot to support local businesses that care this much about what they do. Claywood is one of those places I’ll keep coming back to—and recommending to everyone I know.

   We’ve been to Claywood for their Autumn, Winter, and now Spring menu and it is consistently incredible. From the food to the drinks to the service to the vibe, it is always such a great experience. The creativity and uniqueness of the food is amazing and so fun to try.

   We truly enjoyed our Easter brunch today. I had the salmon entree and my husband had the waffle; we shared the deviled eggs. This restaurant is one of our top 3 places to dine in the Hendersonville area. The food is consistently delicious, their cocktail and wine selection is very good and they have a nice selection of non-alcoholic beverages as well. We love that their seasonal menu is always fresh and changing.

   First time but will not be our last. Food and service was excellent. Our server was friendly and professional. Market fish and steak were cooked perfectly. Definitely recommend!

    Outstanding service and food accompanied by a warm ambiance. The staff are exceptional; friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Carly greeted us with a warm welcoming smile as if we had been friends for years. Authentic and creative menu options for a truly experiential dining experience. The potato-wild mushroom-crispy prosciutto is the best you'll ever have. The arancini is exceptional. Zach and Kelsie have curated some fantastic original cocktails, be sure to try some. If you don't try this place, you're missing out one one of the best restaurants you'll find anywhere.
