Maybe the server was new, but we wished he had been more helpful. The food was fine but $200 for three people seems outrageous for a restaurant of this type.

Food was average. Shrimp was not prepared crispy as I had specified. Salads were good. Macadamia nut chicken app on happy hour menu was very good, and a new addition since last time dining there. Service left a lot to be desired............. Typically great service; not this time. Server was extremely rushed; not attentive to our table, and very slow to get all of our items. Didn't stick around long enough to even take my entire order! After ordering the app, she immediately scurried off to the computer, then walked away! Had to call out to her to come back to finish taking my order! Worst service ever had at this place.

Our food and server was great. Sushi took awhile, which our waiter warned us, due to it being $3 CA rolls and National Sushi Day and there was only one man preparing sushi! Trying to pay was a joke as well, not letting us have the $3 CA roll special due to using my $50 credit with them. Then the manager coming back to the table saying we could only use $25 of the credit because the system would only allow that but we already had a print out of the bill we were trying to pay that had the $50 credit deducted!! Left cash on the table to get out of there.

The food and service are always good here. Party of 5 with 3 teenagers, Father’s Day, 4 cocktails total…$500! Sometimes I think restaurants use all the hype around inflation to just jack the prices. We are getting close to taking Kona Grill off our list.

The food was so, so bland. My lemon pasta tasted like nothing. We went to Kona Grill at the Fashion Square Mall a couple years ago and the pasta was absolutely amazing. This tasted nothing like the one I had before. They need to learn how to season. The fried chicken also had no seasoning. Ironically, the crab crunch roll was extremely salty. Again, last time I had this, I was blown away. In the end, we paid $91 for horrible food.

Could have been better. My chicken satay was cold. My fathers "chicken fried steak" was actually chicken and not steak. They should re-name it on the menu because this is confusing. The carrot cake did not really seem like carrot cake. Frosting tasted like it was out of a cool whip tub. Should have been a lot better for a $15 dessert. Had that dirty restaurant smell when we walked in....Probably not going to return...

I was expecting nothing short of my previous experience with the original Kona Grill. The ambience/atmosphere has drastically changed as my family and I stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes listening to the hostess and a manager discuss where they were going to seat us. We had reservations and almost all of the tables were empty. There were only 3 of us. Not really much of a challenge, I would have thought. Once sat, we were bombarded by flies and nats because (according to the hostess), they had the large windows open for most of the days and couldn’t get the flies out. Upon looking over my shoulder, it was evident the table behind us had not been bused. The bugs were having a feast. Eventually, Evan our waiter came over and took our order and came back with our food fast, and it was excellent sushi! The food and Evan’s great service made up for the bugs. One of the best waiters I’ve had anywhere in the valley. We will go back.
