   Came for the first time to celebrate my birthday with family and friends. I called ahead of time to bring in a cake and was only advised that I can bring in a store brought cake but not homemade. I bring the store cake in and as I checked in, was told it would be $5 per person/slice. I replied that was not communicated with me in advance, her response was be glad it's not Miami because it's $25 a person there. Excuse, but we are Not in Miami so that doesn't matter. It's my birthday, it's fine. Let get seated. Dinner was kinda slow getting out. Sam was our waiter and he was energetic and knowledgeable of the menu. I didn't like how he communicated the check information about not being able to split it with one of my guests and not me. He didn't charge for the cake slicing which was a nice gesture. Overall, for the experience and price tag and what I actually ate, I would say it would be better for an event or brunch in my opinion.

   The food and service was very good, but in our opinion over priced. We looked at the menu online and wanted to eat a steakhouse within walking distance of our hotel. We eat at Fleming's, Capital Grill and Ruth's Chris at home so we thought we would try something different. The prices were not listed on the website, so we were in for quite a sticker shock when we sat down with the menu. The prices far surpassed the above restaurants. We ordered and hoped the food wouldn't disappoint. The Caesar salad was enough to feed four people and priced at $27 was too much to share for two. The filet was delicious and cooked perfectly. The shareable potato side was also very good. The vibe of the restaurant is more "night clubish" with the lounge and restaurant combined. Although the food and service was very good we will find another steak restaurant in Charlotte the next time we visit.

   The waiter who attended our table was quite careless — he picked up a glass of wine and spilled it completely. Later, the staff member who was clearing the plates was rude and had an unpleasant attitude

   The temperature was wrong on my steak. It had a cruise ship vibe which is cool, but not for $500. I’m not sure if it’s a high dollar restaurant.

   Started off bad, as our reservation was at 6 but we didn’t get seated until 6:30 due to the over booking. The music was loud and the upstairs had little to no lighting. The ground was slippery and gross. Our waiter picked up the night for us by being extremely attentive and the food was good.

   It was Mother’s Day so we expected it to be busy! Our server did her best. Our food came out & I had not been given a steak knife until she came back around & I asked for one. Also, had to wait about 10 mins for my Mac to come out. As far as the food, the Caesar salad was the best part. The main entrees were upsetting; the Mac was very soupy and not very tasteful, the truffle butter was a very small teaspoon worth and not as flavorful as other truffle butter I have had & the steak was just okay. Other than that, love the ambience. Also, considering it was Mother’s Day and majority of the guests brought their children, there weren’t really any options that were kid friendly.

   The food was terrible the steak wasn’t cook right all the food was cold they don’t give you ice with your water you wait 45 minutes to sit down even tho we had reservations. I will never visit again! And on top of that it cost us $500 and nothing I mean nothing was satisfied. The only thing that was good was the manager he was nice and that’s it!

    Made a reservation for 3:45. Weren’t seated until an hour later and the food was mid. Atmosphere and service were amazing, though.
