   Don't know why an empty restaurant was extremely slow and inattentive. Did discover upon departure from the GM as we were leaving that a staff member had been injured Nonetheless the service for four diners a lunch took more than hour. No plans to return in the future.

   Waited a very long time for food. When it finally arrived (pasta) it was hard and very undercooked. For an Italian restaurant, this is one thing that should be perfect every time. Especially for the price.

   What a different experience from the first time!!!!! The server came to the table in a rush, never introduced herself and set down water glasses without asking if we even wanted them!!! We asked for different martinis that were not on the menu and she did her best to oblige. When we asked for the cheese plate starter, she said sorry we’re out (it was only 6:30!!!!). Then we asked for two Manacotti dishes and were told they only had one!!!!! Again it was only 6:30!!!! When I asked why such limitations? She replied “ it’s the weekend, we’re busy and that’s the way it is!!!!” I had my 95 year old Mother out for celebration dinner and this is what we got!!!! Sorry but we WILL NOT be back! Stay in Lexington folks and go to Giuseppe’s, you will be treated 100% better!!!

   We love this restaurant and it is our go-to for a date night out. The food is always excellent. We love to try the new items they add to the menu from time to time.

   Stopped here after a distillery visit, arrived too early for dinner but Dan welcomed us at the bar and made us feel at home watching the Oaks and chatting about drinks and our backgrounds. We ended up taking our reservation to the bar to continue to talk to Dan and the lovely guests that joined. The place filled up quickly once they officially opened for dinner. Being an Italian from the tri-state area I'm always leary of dining out for Italian food - they did not disappoint. The portions were large - we were not expecting that and over ordered (thank you fridge and microwave at the hotel for an after-Derby snack! Meatball app was large, three meatballs, could have been a meal. The pizza was also larger than we thought. The seafood manicotti was delicious, and I tried to teach everyone how to say it 'properly'. Overall a wonderful experience that we found on a whim the night before. Highly recommend for good food and service.

   We've enjoyed numerous meals at Vallozzi's and our latest visit didn't disappoint. It's certainly worth the drive from Lexington to enjoy excellent Italian dining. The GM, Sabrina continues to do a good job with her staff selection. The service is great - and friendly.

   Food was REALLY good ! Service wasn’t very fast or energetic. That was okay since we weren’t in a hurry. Could’ve been due to it being a Sunday afternoon. Restaurant atmosphere was quiet. Had some nice music playing. Will definitely come back, but not if we are in a hurry.

    Unfortunately both appetizers were lukewarm when they were served and my pizza was undercooked. Our waitress was wonderful!! Love the ambience at Vallozzi’s but the food is hit or miss which is a shame because it could be a huge hit in our small community.
