A new rooftop restaurant in downtown Easton. Now open on the seventh floor of The Commodore building. Thyme Rooftop Grille offers a progressive New American menu thoughtfully designed by executive chef Brad Shive. The restaurant offers a extensive cocktail list and wine program for guests to enjoy as they dine overlooking the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers, College Hill and downtown Easton.

Overall experience was great. Food (portion size was perfect), cocktails, outdoor dining experience, and service. I would definitely recommend Thyme.

We made a reservation for outdoor seating for 8:30. We got there only to be told that there were no outdoor seating available. The young lady then asked if we wanted, we can wait by the bar, but couldn’t guarantee an outdoor table. My thing is, what’s the point of a reservation? We decided to eat inside because it was getting late and the last seating was 9:30. We went outside to take a look. Only to notice people had their food in to go bags, but was still lounging around. I believe there should be a better policy like a limit as to how long you can sit, especially if your just sitting with your food in a to go bag. Overall food was good and restaurant is beautiful.

It was a great night out in the patio dining. Everything was perfect. I highly recommend going to dinner early and grabbing some drinks at the bar. Great bar atmosphere and the drinks were amazing. Perfect sunset too. I suggest you get a table to face looking outward to get the best sunset views. Cheers!

Beautiful views, delicious food, gracious service. It doesn’t get better than that! Don’t forget to ask for a table by a window when you make the reservation. Many of the tables are at windows but I didn’t request one and we didn’t get one. Disappointing. Next time!!

Sadly we did not choose a good night to dine at Thyme. It was our first time on the outdoor rooftop. Upon arrival we were informed that a private party of 45 would be using half of the roof top. The staff proceeded to pull down a barrier curtain (which also blocked any breeze). Our server was very friendly but dinner for four took 3 hours! It was so painful that one of us left. Two of us had a lobster dish that was very good. The pork chop was over cooked but a prior time it was great. I will ask next time if there will be a large group/private event and just not go if there is.

What a great place! Great ambiance and great view from every table. Wasn't dressy but you could if you like, wasn't casual either - was comfortable. I did feel like it was just a weee over priced but all in all - fantastic experience. Just won't be able to make it a habit due to cost.
