   There were 3 of us and it was no problem to get separate checks. We met for weekday breakfast and it was excellent quality food -- particularly of note were the biscuits and egg scrambles. The wait staff was most accommodating and very attentive. We had a reservation but probably you could have walked in at 9:15 am no problem. The parking garage is around the corner and they validate the parking at the restaurant. A very pleasant experience.

   I think they had an off day. Kitchen was very slow even though they weren’t crowded. The wings were a bit dry. My pot roast, the meat was excellent but the vegetables were undercooked. My wife’s Salmon was prepared well. Drinks were great, just a generally slow service experience. The manager unprompted acknowledged it and spoke with us so I appreciate that. I would just say I was whelmed. Not over or under, just whelmed. I would go back, I enjoyed drinks and the major portion of my main course was good.

   Wonderful experience. They opened in March and the restaurant is consistent in its food and delivery. Delicious bites and entrees. The ambiance is comfortable and inviting. Staff are attentive and professional. They also seem to love what they do! Bonus! Check out Founding Farmers Alexandria.

   Wasn’t a good visit. Cocktail was only filled 3/4 of the way…$15? Needs to be topped. One of the meals came out 10 minutes before the other two.

   I am a huge fan of Founding Farmers. I have dined at the DC location several times. The Alexandria location was extremely disappointing. My reservation (which I was on time for) was for 5:45pm. I was not seated until 6:15! At that time our server informed us that they we out of several items and that if we were wanting the fried chicken, it may take up to 40 minutes. I tried to order the shrimp ad grits instead- also out. I settled for the scallops. $33 got me 4 small to medium sized scallops surrounding risotto that was 50% peas. To finish off this meal I tried to salvage it with key lime pie which after waiting for 15 minutes....they informed me that they did not have. Water was requested for most of the meal yet never delivered. The staff was extremely unapologetic. After this poor experience, I was informed that the restaurant only validates parking for 2 hours which would have been perfect except we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time and forced us over the 2 hour mark. Pack your patience if you try this location.

   Sadly our experience was not great, came for mother days and we are used to other locations in Maryland. Was very excited because I love this restaurant, however the food was not what I expected. My favorite here is the Mac and cheese and it was not what I’ve tried before. The Mac and cheese was dry and hard. The steak was also very chewy and cold. The only good thing was the chicken. Very disappointed. Please look at the picture of the Mac and cheese in case you want to go and order that - is not like the other restaurants or even like the one they have on their website.

   I had a wonderful experience at Founding Farmers! From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent — our waiter was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding: fresh ingredients, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. You can really taste the care and quality in every dish. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, making it a perfect spot for a great meal. Everything from the timing of the courses to the overall hospitality was spot-on. The only minor issue I encountered was with the bathroom sink, which was stopped up and ended up splashing water onto my shirt. It was a small inconvenience in an otherwise flawless visit. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend Founding Farmers to anyone looking for a delicious meal paired with exceptional service

   Food wasn’t that great. The burger I received was falling apart and in my opinion had more lettuce than actual patty. We also ordered a potato hash with peppers that were so big it was nearly impossible to eat. Don’t recommend. Poor food quality for the amount paid.
