Founding Farmers Alexandria is located just a short walk from Potomac Yard in Oakville Triangle.

Open every day – serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekday happy hour 3:30pm-6pm, and weekend brunch – their expansive made-from-scratch menus offer American-inspired dishes including their famous fried chicken & waffles, farmhouse sushi, a variety of salads, fresh pastas, premium seafood & more. A full-service bar features cocktails made with Founding Spirits, their DC distillery. There is also a full service patio available that's seated on a first come, first served basis.

The biscuits with jam is amazing! There is so much food, we couldn't finish everything. If hadn't been making more stops, I would have definitely taken it with us.

Okayyyyyyy I’m back I visited on March 23rd I believe and I did not like anything really about my experience other than the atmosphere. I’m here to say that today was a little bit better — still not satisfied but better than before. So service - great we had a good waitress she was very attentive and made sure we were taking care of well. Last time server was not the best so I’m glad that changed. Atmosphere - always like the atmosphere no complaints there Food - I got the crab cake Benedict and overall it was ok but the English muffin itself was tougher than Joe Pesci in a 90s movie I couldn’t even eat it. They messed up my fiance eggs and forgot her butter made biscuit but when we did get the biscuit it was very fluffy and good. Actually used that for my eggs Benedict as the base and left that English muffin alone. But that’s all I have so still not really satisfied but definitely improved from my first visit

This Alexandria location is a true gem for the community and s surrounding area. Food is delicious and service is always on point! It rivals GAR restaurants…. If you know, you know.

Disappointed in the inattentive service. Had to send an item back two times, finally opted for another choice only to have been charged for the item the kitchen botched twice.

The table next to us had children screaming, and the adults did nothing. It ruined the end of our meal.

Went to founding farmers in Alexandria after a day at the museums with my family from out of town. There were 10 of us and they did a great job managing the service for a group of that size. Everything came out on time and hot. The food was all delicious. Thanks for helping me have a nice time with my family.
