Last night was my first time eating here and overall, it was a great experience. The highlight of the night was definitely the steak , perfectly cooked tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell they take their meat seriously here. The atmosphere was lively and modern, which added to the experience. While the food was toptier, the service was a bit off. It wasn’t terrible by any means, but there were a few moments where things felt slightly uncoordinated or slow. That said, the quality of the steak more than made up for it, and I’d definitely come back to try more of the menu. If you’re a steak lover, this spot is worth a visit.

The food was only surpassed by the impeccable service. From octopus to the perfectly temp steak, our meal was flawless. The meal was finally capped off with an amazing Biscoff cheesecake and the carrot cake (both of which were sized to be shared). Thank you, you made my birthday feel priceless.

It took roughly 25 minutes to get our drinks. We watched them sitting on the bar waiting to be served. Food came out fast and it was delicious, but they forgot my truffle butter. Our waiter didn’t come by and we couldn’t flag him down until I was basically done with my steak, as I didn’t want it to get cold. Even just getting our bill and check out took forever. We had to have someone else run it.

Such an unexpected and happy surprise to find a legitimate steakhouse in Lakeview/Lincoln Park Low key and yet swanky- everything struck the right chords. Fantastic array of appetizers and salads- the meatball was phenomenal and salads were big enough to share (our waiter was kind enough to point out). Ribeye was literally perfect. Many thanks to our server Caesar- we had such a lovely night because of you- many thanks for all of your astute recommendations and top notch service!

Great Lincoln Park Steakhouse with speakeasy vibe. The steak and service was outstanding. The Onyx Ribeye was incredible, highly recommend the Octopus appetizer as well.

Food was excellent, service was attentive. As a table for two, we were seated in a small table in a back corner. Would have liked a bit bigger table, but no other complaint, other than a very loud group on the other side of the room.

Waited 30 minutes to be seated even though we had a reservation, because they weren’t willing to ask people that had paid to get up from their table (even though they say they enforce a time limit on your reservation). There isn’t a good place to wait, so we were smushed in the corner by the host stand with ~12 other guests waiting for their tables. Once we were seated, one of the water glasses had thick lipstick marks on it from a previous guest. After this point on, the meal and service was incredible. One of the best steaks I’ve had in Chicago and the house-made dessert for a birthday we were celebrating was outstanding. A bit bummed that we asked them to box up our leftovers and they forgot to pack one of the steaks we had wanted to take home. Overall, quality of service and timeliness of our reservation was outweighed by how good the food is and I’m sure we’ll go back someday.

This was one of my moments I followed my instincts and it really paid off. My guest were overly impressed with the environment and the food. From starters through deserts- just fantastic. We had one yr old with us who truly enjoyed the the Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. This is a great place to eat and enjoy friends and family. The server was knowledgeable about every dish and drinks were nice. Make reservations you won’t be disappointed. BRAVO! HATS OFF TO THE CHEF & SERVER!

Overall great experience. The Palomas were well made and refreshing. The meatball was moist and flavorful. Didn’t care for the crispy anchovies in place of croutons for the caesar salad… The Salmon was very good and a beautiful presentation. Our lamb chops were a bit over temperature but still flavorful and delicious. But the show stopper was definitely the biscoff cheescake-it was amazing and literally melted in your mouth!
