   Best restaurant in all of Dallas. Hands down. The closest thing we have to true fine dining, both food and service wise.

   For that very special occasion (or when you have unlimited spending on a business trip), Mister Charles is fabulous! I don't recall any other Dallas restaurant as good. Clearly it's the kitchen that shines on every single dish. We opted to split 4 courses, insuring we would be able to enjoy a comprehensive experience. And we did! What flavors!! Amazing. This is fine dining at its very best! Service is extraordinary. We never felt rushed in any way, and that's how it's supposed to be. Along the way there were small glitches. In no particular order, the final bill was inaccurate, and to worsen matters, after pointing out the error, it wasn't corrected even though a correction was promised. One of the managers comped a drink in addition to correcting the error. My simple cocktails were disappointingly small in portion size. This is a restaurant that strikes me as wanting to provide a high brow, New York style experience. Enlarge the jiggers, please, just a bit! Make it two green olives instead of just one. Yes, I realize that all I needed to do is ask for a second one, and it would have been provided without hesitation. Putting only one olive in a cocktail looks skimpy! (The cocktail itself was delicious!). My single espresso came out lukewarm. I immediately sent it back, and a new hot version was substituted with apologies delivered. The atmosphere is vibrant. It is more difficult to have a conversation with your table partner than it should be. Music level is higher than it has to be. On a personal preference level, this restaurant would be wise to play more standards in the background than today's more upbeat tunes. Bring back Frank Sinatra! Our assigned table wasn't the greatest. Too small even just for 2 persons. I should have asked for a different table when we were seated, and for sure. For the money spent, I would certainly do so next time. Despite very high prices, this is a great special occasion place!

   We had an excellent dining experience. We got several appetizers and desserts to share at the table, and all of them were excellent and unique. The steaks were some of the best we’ve ever had and the Wellington was perfection. Mister Charles is a beautiful restaurant and service was also top notch. Treat yourself to this fine dining experience.

   Wonderful experience. Arrived earlier than reservarion and was not hassled at all. All staff was kind and courteous. Celebrated wife's birthday and had two teenage boys with me. Wife enjoyed filet mignon, I was well pleased with beef wellington. My boys enjoyed handmade pasta dish and pan seared chicken. All dishes were wonderful. Costly but did not feel cheated at all. 5 star prices for 5 star dishes and service.

   This was a great place to spend our 20th Anniversary. The reservation was easy to make (do so well in advance, though). I even called the day off and was able to adjust it back 30 min which I appreciated. I would have valued them reminding me that they offer complimentary valet since we made effort to find parking...not knowing what the cost might be for valet and it was earlier in the evening...figured parking wouldn't be a challenge. Aside, we were warmly welcomed, quickly seated at a lovely table where a small vase with roses was waiting. We were also welcomed with a "happy anniversary" and complimentary champagne. My husband wasn't drinking and declined the champagne and was offered NA champagne (very nice touch). Our server (whose name escaped me) was TREMENDOUS. She offered the perfect level of attention but respect for our conversations. She also made suggestions for us, which we took. We enjoyed the grilled cheese canapé (AMAZING), deviled egg canapé (good), corn and truffle beignets (ok, not excellent), Truffle Scarpinocc (AMAZING), Texas Wagyu Short Rib Wellington (AMAZING), Charred Broccolini (good), complimentary Pommes Aligot (AMAZING), and Banana Semifreddo Baked Alaska (very good). We also enjoyed French pressed coffee to close out the night. We never felt rushed which was such a delight since we were so enjoying the ambiance, company and conversation. I highly recommend this destination for your next celebration or date night. EXCELLENT all around.

   Absolutely AMAZING food and service. Our only “complaint” was the music is getting way too loud so it was near impossible to have a conversation

   The menu is filled with delightful surprises, particularly the canapés . Our server, Chris was helpful, attentive but not intrusive. This is a consistently go to place for special occasions
