Cowboy Sally’s has always had heart — and now it’s got some fresh fire. Leading the kitchen
is new Executive Chef Steele DePew, whose bold vision brings Southern comfort food
with serious edge. While the iconic brisket and pulled pork remain, they now share the
spotlight with orange-glazed duck breast, Coca-Cola braised short ribs, Southern
shrimp & grits, and other inventive new dishes.

This was our second visit to Cowboy Sally's and the food and service are consistently good. I have to say I was just back home in Texas and so when I compared the brisket I had at home versus Cowboy Sally's I'm definitely convinced they are just as good and authentic as the Texas version. Ten gallon hat off to you Cowboy Sally's.

This used to be a great restaurant when they first opened. Menu has changed…for the worse. Way fewer selections. You can tell that they’re struggling. Out of certain beers. Out of certain food dishes. Portion sizes of food served are small which makes meals overpriced. If they keep this up, they will be out of business within a year…have seen it many times.

Was a great choice for a ladies get together with food that kept the guys happy, too. Great atmosphere.

I just think all the entree meats were BLAND. I got the twin filets. The steak was overcooked but on top of that had no flavor. They were really nice about it and got me something else and I got the chicken grits and the chicken had no flavor either. Again, service was great and o didn’t have to pay for it but I will never be back.

Our server was very sweet and attentive. Food was tasty and filling. We enjoyed a fun evening of family time.

A party of 9 to celebrate my sister's retirement on a Sat night. When we walked in and the restaurant was almost empty that should have been a sign. They were out of Crown whiskey, out of mashed potatoes, so substituted it with grits on my braised short rib. TERRIBLE! We waited too long for the meal and it was dry, along with the brisket. So disappointed. Over priced for what we received. I won't be returning.

Waited 1 hour for appetizers. Ordered the cheese fries, they were ok but a little cold. Food arrived 1.5 hrs after we ordered it. Ordered pull pork and brisket combo. Brisket was overcooked and very tough. Pulled pork sandwich was ok. Lots of meat. Wasn’t very hot. Place was very noisy with background music and also just other tables

The service was good. The menu selection was great but the taste didn’t quite match. The cornbread was excellent. The service was great. It wasn’t overly crowded when we arrived. The temperature of the food was just warm. It was disappointing.
