Hood Canale' brings fine wine, local, craft beer and Napolitano-style wood-fired pizza to the lovely hamlet of Union. Come enjoy our award-winning pizza, charcuterie platters and many creative apps and desserts in the Grotto Bar, under the tent in the garden or waterfront. The meat-lovers Gondolier's Brother to Lemon Garlic Butter Shrimp pizza and many in between can be paired with one of 800 bottles of red, white or bubbles from around the world. We are 21 and over and although we love pets, we do not allow them in the restaurant. Reservations are for 90 minutes, with the exception of live music nights where you may reserve a table at 6:30 or later and stay through the band's entire performance. Live music Friday and Saturday is from 7-9 and other special events and nights will be added throughout the year. Come see us soon!

We made a reservation and the table that we wanted was reserved for us. It was a beautiful evening and the service was great. The only issue we had is that one pizza came out quite a bit before the other. We enjoyed a bottle of wine and it was not that big of a deal cuz it was just my husband and me.

Another great meal and service by the Canale team. Our table by the water was appreciated and the live music was an added bonus.

Pizza was great…awesome flavor and crust was perfect. And I would definitely recommend the gelato. I had the lemon curd which was very smooth and creamy with just the right amount of tartness. Will be a return customer for sure.

The food and wine were delicious - but the service was not what we expected. We had made reservations but when we arrived we were told there wasn’t a table unless we wanted to wait until someone left - which is what we did - for about 30 minutes. We finally were seated by the water (a lovely location) and placed our order. An hour later we still had not received our pizzas. We were comped a bottle wine for our wait, and that was nice and when the pizzas finally did arrive they were absolutely wonderful.

Lovely outdoor area along the Canal edge - beautiful view of the water, eagles flying over and delicious, amazing pizza - service from Kim efficient as always - great wine recommendation - what more could you want?

I can’t say enough about how great our night was at Canale. The staff so warm and professional and the pizza in credible . We have been there 3 times and it has been a yearly tradition for us. It was my birthday and we were a group of 6 and John sent out champagne to the table he literally moved us to the front of the airplane. I’ve been in the restaurant business myself for over 50 years and what Canale has is something very special. I hope we can keep our tradition there for many years to come. Thank you for a special birthday celebration

Weather was great and we had a table near the water. The atmosphere was lovely. We were celebrating a friends birthday and everyone had a wonderful time, great pizza, charcuterie and wine!
