    Memorable first-time experience. Chef Pettersson is a Michelin-caliber artist who presents a visually stunning plate laden with new and exciting flavors, and textures. We eagerly await a return to the quiet and strikingly modern (Swedish?) atmosphere of Kompose and the competent and cheery servers. Bravo Chef Patrik and brava to the wait staff. Tack!

    Always a great culinary experience at By Patrik Pettersson! Such creative and inspiring food, excellent wine pairings, and a terrific staff! Eating here is always a must when we are in Sarasota!

    Exquisite food. Really delicious. The seven course tasting when you had great variety of unique dishes and wasn't too much or too little. It was perfectly proportioned.

    Creative, delicious and healthy food prepared by a talented chef in a minimalist kitchen. It's a fun experience and the food is amazing! The owner of the restaurant and staff always make you feel welcome and provide excellent service.

    Food and service was amazing. I tried the restaurant week menu and was not disappointed.The highlight by far was the Panna Cotta and Chef surprised me with a dollop of caviar. I also chose the wine pairing and was delighted with the choices.

    What can I say that I haven't already said? The restaurant has become our favorite restaurant in Florida. The food is always exceptional and Patrik takes great care with every plate that comes out of his kitchen. Not only are they a joy to behold, they are always freah and delicious! I don't know what inspires him but I am happy that we are the recepients of his creations. As I have said before, I can't understand how the foodies aren't standing in line!!! Justin complements Patrik's creations with wonderful wines from vineyards we've never heard of but really enjoy. Justin's wife, Jessica, makes sure that the evening ends with a little something sweet that makes me want to come back. They also made our anniversary celebration a night to remember! Many thanks to all!!!!!! See you again soon.

    It's hard to believe but at every visit, Patrik just keeps getting better and better! We try to come in at least once a month - depending on our busy schedules. Patrik and Justin - who finds the most unbelievable wines - never disappoint! They always have a smile on their faces and something new and different for us to try. I am always surprised that foodies aren't lined up at the door waiting to taste whatever Patrik comes up with. Justin's wife is an amazing pastry chef and her creations always top off an unforgetable meal. We are going back next weekend to continue celebrating the restaurant's one year anniversary and our 35th! Can't wait!!!!!!!

    From start to finish we had an amazing experience. Food was outstanding and the chef was so enjoyable to chat with. Love that personal touch. Wine pairing was so spot on and the server/host explained everything which was helpful. Highly recommended this restaurant for a. Fine dining experience. We will be back.
