We have dined at this location several times, and keep going back. Last night, although there were only a few tables occupied upon arrival, it took a while for a server to acknowledge us after being seated. Pleasant person but unapologetic. Once we ordered, the kitchen and servers kept up with the growing crowd, just a little off. Starters were unappealing. Artichoke was overdone, dry and stringy. Aioli sauce tasted like it was bottled ranch dressing. Mussels were blah, and no crispy bread served to soak up the juice, which often times is the best part of ordering mussels. Entrees, as always, were wonderful.

My steak was reasonably good, however my partners meal was undercooked, server took it away and I was finished my meal before it returned..also the lava cake was cold…perhaps it should be named a dormant lava cake…

If I could give ChouChou 6 stars, I would. The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Our server (I think he said his name was Andrew) was beyond attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was incredible. The only thing that I could complain about is that I have not been here before! We will for sure be back.

Lovely evening celebrating husbands birthday, food is always delicious, never to crowded or noisy, so you can enjoy your conversations. Great service and very reasonably priced for the quality of food.

What a refreshing quality restaurant finally in Burlingame.. Service staff is impecable!! Meal reminded me of Paris!!! Prix fix menu is a great value and the wine lid is superb!! If you, like me, are tired of the same old same old in Burlingame, then this place is for you!! Just go, and see for yourself!!
