   First time at Kuro Bistro, even on a Monday everything was fantastic. The food was amazing and so fresh. The customer service was top notch, so friendly, and they treated my 2 year old like a princess. Brought her a cake with candles because her birthday was on April 14! Will definitely go back!

   We had the most amazing dinner here! There were 8 of us with all different tastes and every single one of us was thrilled with what we got. The menu has something for everyone. The staff members were delightful as well. Highly recommend Kuro Bistro!

   Always top shelf food. This is our go to place in lake forest. Healthy options abound, fish is super fresh, veggies are always colorful and fresh.

   This place has the best rolls ever. I have dined here multiple times and have never had a bad experience. I’m looking forward to trying their sushi pizza on my next visit.

    Last night we went to Kuro for sushi. This was our first time and likely our last given the following reasons. We ordered the tuna selection, Hama mama, seaweed salad, tempura combo and king California roll. The tempura and seaweed salad was good, but the sushi needs a lot of help. The sashimi was way too thick. Each of the rolls fell apart due to the lack of rice and what seemed to be not enough squeezing of the roll during the making process. Overall, not a pleasurable experience and not worth $125 for two.
