Went to the restaurant for Father's Day, the person that greeted us sat us down at the first table we came to, I had to request a different table to our liking, there were many options the place was half full. The wine, appetizer, Greek salad and bread was good. We had 3 fish entrees and it took along time to get the order, the fish was dry and appeared over cooked with no notable seasoning. I asked about seasoning options and was told there were non. The place was nice however for the menu prices I expected better.

Fantastic as usual, even on a busy Father’s Day.. oysters were some of the biggest & best we’ve ever had! Shrimp/Calamari platter never disappoints. Grilled octopus tasted like I was back in Greece, so fresh & delicious.

Excellent selection of fresh fish, with a decent wine list. All of our dishes were very good to excellent. The price was reasonable for what we got. Biggest negative is every single surface in the place was hard, so the noise level was excessive, even by modern restaurant standards.

Moises was our fantastic server. The salmon, orange roughy, scallops, shrimp cocktail & clam chowder were excellent. The walleye was a little overcooked. Per usual, the rice & vegetable (green bean) sides were very good.

This was my first visit since they put in the glass enclosed patio. What a great addition. The fox and service were as wonderful as always. Now the additional patio makes Tia place even better.

Ordered broiled/grilled fish. It was under seasoned and soaked in butter. The bread was nothing special - toasted bread with butter and garlic seasoning. Could easily make it at home. Requested swapping rice and potatoes for fries and was told that would be an upcharge. The green beans were from a can. The potatoes and rice were bland. Reserved a table for two and was put at a six person table. The noise level made conversation very difficult.

We have been here before- you pay a premium for the food here but they ALWAYS deliver a quality product and many of the plates can be split between two or sometimes three people. I’ve had the halibut Oscar, fisherman’s platter, fried cod, lots of stuff, all comparable to a five star or even butting up to a michelin star (and yes, I have been, nope not a snob or rich just had the opportunity) without the haughtiness. Presentation an atmosphere is much like being at a coastal restaurant. This time I had snapper and my buddy had grouper, my wife had the fried cod and my other friend had the fried snapper. I sampled everything but the fried snapper. The grilled entrees were grilled to perfection. My wife’s cod had just the right amount of batter and she raved about the dipping sauce. My other friend mentioned her fried snapper had a good flavor but the texture of the snapper was not as firm as she had expected. Also, they served my wife an incredible helping of garlic mashed potatoes but neglected to tell her it was served cold style. Those are the only two downsides to an otherwise more than pleasant dining experience. I didn’t mention the sides that come with the grilled meals but they were also quite nice on the taste and portion (beans with an interesting sauce, wild rice, and baked/roasted potatoes). There are three dining areas. One is in an area where they showcase seafood to purchase outright for home cooking, a newly paved and tented Dining area, and in the summer they offer outside dining. The tented area is bit loud if it’s crowded and some tables in that area are a little big to have a casual conversation, especially for us old folks who can’t hear as well anymore. But don’t be discouraged by those comments. I’m just being honest. Highly recommended.
