    Daryle was an AMAZING server!!! He was professional, personable, attentive, and knowledgeable (about good and drinks). The experienced was such a pleasure that a second reservation was made immediately, and plans to host an event at the establishment are in the works! Thank you Daryle for such a special and memorable night!!! 🫶🏾🫶🏾🫶🏾

    Every member of the staff was above expectations! They all work together to make sure the customer is completely taken care of at all times. The food was excellent in terms of presentation and taste. Andessa was a phenomenal bar tender and server. There was a 20% auto tip included, well worth it given the level of service. Great place. Can not wait to visit again the next time I am in D.C.

    Okay, let’s go. I’ve seen this restaurant advertised and was excited to try it for the first time. Overall, it was a good experience, including highs and lows. 1. The food was fantastic! It was seasoned in a balanced way. There were 3 people in our party. Everyone gave 2 thumbs up with the food. The fish, chicken, and pork chops were excellent. The greens ( smoked turkey) were very good and so was the mac n cheese. There was only 1 bartender, so the drinks were slow to arrive and incorrect for one of the drinks. However, they eventually arrived and were as advertised. Low Point alert: to our surprise, there was a 20% service charge on our bill, which is usually reserved for parties of 6 or more. We were informed this is consistent with DC. On that I call BS. It’s as if they were assuming we would not tip appropriately. I take tipping very seriously and always tip 20% unless I have extremely bad service and that’s only happened a couple of times in my adult life. Even then, I tipped 10%. This left a very negative impression on all of us. The server was very nice and polite. The food was fantastic. The 20% service charge left me feeling some type of way. Despite, having a great meal, I am unsure if I would patronize this chain again. There are many options for a great meal that don’t have this policy.

    The food was delicious but atmosphere and service could be better. I could tell was a busy evening but giving grace for that, despite my reservation and a text that my table was ready, they seems to be trying to find a place for us when we arrived. They finally sat us downstairs. This area had suggestive images playing and very loud music that made me uncomfortable dining in and we asked to be moved. We were moved to a table that had not been cleaned and had no cutlery. We didn’t make a fuss as we were entertaining a guest but the experience certainly had room for improvement.

    Waiter was horrible . We didn’t get drinks til almost an hour after ordering . Then Food came out it was cold . We asked for refill she wouldn’t bring . Then as we leaving was not friendly at all

    Took my mom here for her birthday! Was able to purchase a group photo in a cute frame from a worker! Good string drinks, very good food loved the decor and service. They put a cute Happy Birthday sign on the table. Was sat immediately and food came out fairly quick. Was a little chilly in there but not terribly cold. I would return!
