Many positives and just a few negatives. Appealing atmosphere welcomes you to expect a dining experience. Toku delivers on some elements of that . Service was good ,not extraordinary. Simple things like filling water glasses did not happen until asked for. Food presentation and taste rate well for a modern Asian quality restaurant. Don't expect value pricing as their menu is on the high side . If i took a business client to dinner to try and close a deal ,Toku probably works ,but I might have to add the cost of dinner to the transaction to make it work profitably.

Let’s just say without the service that was provided by our waiter Wiz, I don’t think this experience would’ve been the same. His attention to detail and knowledge of the menu was quite good. We followed his recommendations and were more than happy with everything that we had. The edamame with a spicy sauce on the side was excellent The shrimp dumplings were scrumptious The scallops carpaccio were extremely fresh We had fried rice and udan noodles as side, dishes, and short ribs with pad Thai, and fillet with broccoli as our main dishes. All were top-notch We finished our evening off with a Fuji apple dessert with homemade vanilla ice cream over the top that was just marvelous. There, along with their selections of drinks and wines makes this a must return to. We recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a lover of sushi, or Japanese fare. Once again, thanks again Wiz for making it a special occasion .

We always enjoy coming to this restaurant. The service is phenomenal from the moment you check in at the reception area till the moment you get your bill, everyone is very polite, and ready to assist. The table is always cleaned up immediately and the food is exceptionally amazing. It’s one of our “Go To” places to enjoy a great meal.

I never leave reviews and dine out at least 4-5 times per week. We had an earlier dinner and the restaurant was quite empty almost empty therefore the service should have been quite attentive. The staff lingered around taking to themselves. We ordered sparkling water and drinks. The drinks were not very good and I barely drank my Martini. Initially our sever poured the sparkling water and never came back to repour or ask if i/we wanted another drink or to replace the drinks that we advised were not very good On to the food. The tuna in the tuna bowl was chewy and as well they put truffle oil on it that was not on the menu. We sent it back and not one person had the courtesy to ask or apologize (it was un eatable) so bizarre. The remaining items we were par/subpar. Still at no time did one of the mangers come over to enquire or apologize To top it off upon receiving our almost $200 check for 2 they did deduct the tuna but added $3 for an extra for pcs of cucumber (really?). To further the extremely disappointing experience I went to the rest room before leaving and it was quite disgusting with every garbage overflowing with trash and paper towels as well as the sink are and floors not very clean. Made me think how does the kitchen look. Overall quite a disappointing experience and will never go back. Restaurant should take a hard look at current staffing and training / sops

This restaurant never disappoints...it's always delicious. A pleasure every time we go...Amazing food, great service, lovely restaurant. It has it all. Highly recommend.
