   My wife took me here for my birthday and it was a grand time. Our server was the best ever. The experience was a homerun from the pita bread and hummus down to the baklava. Our appetizers and main course were very delicious and a good size serving as well. We would definitely return here for a power lunch one of these evenings. Also the ambiance is amazing! Feels like you’re in Greece.

   The service was horrible. They seated us at a table for five, even though we had a reservation for six. They insisted our reservation was for five until I showed them the confirmation, which clearly stated it was for six. We kept changing tables until we were finally seated at one for six. To make matters worse, it was my birthday, and they gave me a ‘Happy Birthday’ post with someone else’s name on it. Easily the worst birthday experience I’ve ever had.

   The noise level here is beyond belief. And it's not just the voice level. There is a pounding beat -- some might call it music -- that never, NEVER stops. I am sorry we did not turn around and walk out immediately.

   The food was great, but unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. Everything started off well, but things changed when we ordered a bottle of white wine. When it was brought to the table, we let the waiter know it was room temperature. Rather than offering a proper solution or even an apology, they simply brought out a glass of ice. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I know the standards that should be upheld—especially at a place of this caliber. Serving warm white wine and offering ice as a fix is simply unacceptable and not something I would have expected here.

   The restaurant was top notch. The grilled octopus was good and the lamb chops and the lobster pasta were delicious. We will definitely be returning. 10 out of 10!

   Julia was my server at this location and she was friendly and pleasant, helped describe the menu even though it was noisy and was there for all our needs. My table had overcooked steaks, and the manager Jack promptly corrected the situation with fresh food in a timely manner. The service alone was A+, the food was great for brunch, a prie fixe menu with app, entree, desert and the bottomless espresso martini’s and Bellini’s were excellent. Brunch for 4 will cost around 127 a person and it is worth it in my opinion

   Outstanding and well-prepared food - extremely delicious. Great portions. Equally outstanding service. Totally recommended for the Power Lunch.

   Really enjoyed my experience at Balos yesterday evening. Our server was very attentive and made some great recommendations. Everything we ordered (Classic Spreads, Branzino, and Lamb Chops) was delicious. We will definitely return.
