La Barrita features Argentinian style steak seasoned with mouth watering chimichurri, home made pastas, and empanadas. Nestled in the Butcher's Hill neighborhood, La Barrita provides intimate atmosphere with a Baltimore industrial feel. In the warmer months enjoy al fresco dining when we roll up the garage doors.

At La Barrita we treat our guests like family. An upscale casual restaurant, we suit a variety of dining needs, from special occasions to catching up with friends; you might even catch a soccer game on at the bar.     Really great food. Matteo was our waiter and he was fabulous, he was super polite, helpful and checked on us plenty without it being too much.

    I was outside, so noise was not a factor. I can't comment on noise inside since I never went in. The meal was phenomenal, and the service exceptional! I was with my 5 year old grandson, and they were very accommodating to get the meal served quickly. I had the garbonzo bean starter and ribs. Best of each I've ever had!! I'll definitely go back!

    From cocktails to dessert, and everything in between, our meal was excellent. We enjoyed Brussels sprouts, empanadas, fries, steak, and a crepe—food was delicious, service was smooth, and staff was very personable. We look forward to returning.

    La Barrita has it all - the homemade pasta is superb and if you like steak WOW!! Hidden gem for sure. The drinks and wine selection are also fantastic. If you haven't been there, you're missing out.

    It was absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was delicious. Drinks were strong but flavorful. Service was attentive. It is not inexpensive but worth the money especially when celebrating something.

    Overall I would give 4.5 stars if I could. Excellent service and good wines. I thought my steak while moist was more chewy than I expected. My date loved the duck. The salad dressing was underwhelming… lemon juice based. I thought adding pomegranate molasses would improve.

    The food was amazing but the service could use a little improvement. Our server kept trying to take our food before we were finished without asking. We had a full bowl of fries and he took them before we were done. I had to ask him to leave the food. After this incident it happened with our entrees where again we had to ask him to leave the food after he grabbed it to clear the table. We have been multiple times before and this has never been an issue, so hopefully this was just a one off. Overall we love this place and will be back.
