Cubanos is a hidden gem that we always visit when in the area, with high-end cuisine that's fairly priced. One could go with sharing the wide range of appetizers and enjoy small plates or the same with dinner. Ropa vieja is moist and flavorful. Oxtail stew was delicious, rich gravy and tender. More basic items like the shrimp and vegetables cooked to perfection. Tres leches was fantastic dessert along with Cuban coffee. Excellent experience this week again!

We had a wonderful Mother's Day lunch at Cubanos. We used to go to the restaurant in Silver Spring and was happy to revisit it in Bethesda. Service was so friendly and helpful, and the food was outstanding as usual. I do find it to be on the pricey side, but worth it because their dishes are consistently good.

Food was delicious. Service was little slow, but the overall experience was good. We will definitely eat there again.

First time dining there and the food was fresh and delicious. We had fried calamari as an appetizer. It was crispy and well prepared not rubbery. My wife and I ordered the steak with white rice also very good. They could improve their dessert menu since there were limited options.

This is a neighborhood gem. Very good food with adequate portions and fairly prompt service. Moderate prices make Cubanos a good value!
